I would highly recommend Gail! I came to her as a very nervous driver after some negative experiences with previous instructors and I used to dread driving lessons. From the very beginning, Gail put me completely at ease and turned lessons into something I genuinely looked forward to. She is incredibly patient and always explains things clearly and calmly. Whenever I had an anxious moment or doubted my abilities, she was reassuring, encouraging and knew exactly how to help me work through it. On top of being an excellent instructor, Gail is a genuinely lovely person. She made every lesson enjoyable, and it was always a pleasure chatting with her while learning to navigate the roads. Gail is a wonderful instructor, she is patient, kind and fun while teaching everything to an extremely high standard. I was really nervous to learn to drive and found lots of it really confusing and overwhelming to begin with, but Gail broke everything down and over time made me a calm and confident driver. BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTOR EVER. It's not easy re-teaching a nervous 40yo woman how to drive but by gum, Gail has managed it! Absolutely fantastic driving instrucutor - Gail understood perfectly the balance of refinding my confidence with pushing me forwards and then there I was somehow merging on the dual carriageway. She is the right kind of exacting, giving clear and supportive guidance; I loved the visuals and precise advice on reversing manoeuvres.
