Highly recommend learning to drive with James. From being very anxious on my first driving test to passing with only 3 minors; he continuously made me feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. Very patient and calming and continuously adapted to fit how I learn and deal with situations. Anyone would be lucky to have him!!

From my experience with James, he is inpatient with teaching learner drivers who don’t have experience behind the wheel, and is rude when you make a mistake. Even though he wasn’t a bad person, he isn’t fair for using others mistakes against them and not having the patience to teach drivers who are just learning.
It just feels like bias and disrespect to drivers, especially when he admitted to me that I was making progress, but still decided to cut me off over some flaws that I could’ve fixed had he told me about it sooner. It was as if he wanted an excuse to not want to teach me any further and to instead teach other drivers. Very disappointing overall.

I switched instructors to James earlier this year. I was told by my previous instructor that I would not pass in a manual car and I passed driving manual with two minors!

I switched instructors to James earlier this year. I was told by my previous instructor that I would not pass in a manual car and I passed driving manual with two minors!
James is a relaxed and upbeat instructor, I immediately felt positive driving with him and never felt embarrassed about making mistakes. All of the lessons were focused on driving skills not just passing the test, which has made me a much safer and more confident driver. He also offered extra lessons near my test date which were incredibly helpful. Thank you James.

James is an amazing and patient teacher who has helped me to pass my test first time! He is very understanding about any anxieties you may have about driving, and will go over things with you until you feel confident with them. If a teaching style isn't working for you, he is happy to change it to fit with how you learn.
On top of that, he is just a very nice person to talk to, and made me feel at ease when I was struggling with certain aspects of learning to drive.

Highly recommend learning to drive with James. From being very anxious on my first driving test to passing with only 3 minors; he continuously made me feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. From my experience with James, he is inpatient with teaching learner drivers who don’t have experience behind the wheel, and is rude when you make a mistake. Even though he wasn’t a bad person, he isn’t fair for using others mistakes against them and not having the patience to teach drivers who are just learning.

James is an amazing and patient teacher who has helped me to pass my test first time! He is very understanding about any anxieties you may have about driving, and will go over things with you until you feel confident with them. If a teaching style isn't working for you, he is happy to change it to fit with how you learn.
On top of that, he is just a very nice person to talk to, and made me feel at ease when I was struggling with certain aspects of learning to drive.
