Simon was fantastic with Me, extremely patient. He put me at ease each lesson and really built my confidence.
He will tell you when you are ready for your test, and keep asking if you have booked it yet once you are (so this to Me shows he isn’t about keeping you in lessons, to earn more money)
I highly recommend him, especially if a you are nervous.
I passed first time ☺️

The best! Si is absolutely awesome! Felt so comfortable. after having a terrible experience with my first instructor si made me feel confident again! He got me passed in no time at all! Can’t recommend him enough! Very very patient. I have adhd and struggle at times but he made sure I was settled and happy. He was very very patient with me. Si is that nice I still talk with him! Brilliant guy! Glad we met! X

I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Simon. He’s calm, patient and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand, which really helped build my confidence.
I especially appreciated how flexible he was with lesson times when I had appointments — it made things so much less stressful. I never felt judged for mistakes and always felt supported and encouraged to improve.
I’d highly recommend Simon to anyone looking for a reliable and understanding driving instructor!

I was taught by Si in 2014/15 in an automatic car. I had a bad experience with a previous driving school so was nervous. I have ADHD and Si was really understanding and attentive; adjusting lessons as needed and allowing for breaks. As a young female at the time I can say I always felt comfortable and Si was really professional. He advised when I was ready for my test and booked this in for me - this was rescheduled a couple of times as I wasn’t ready, but I trusted Si’s guidance and passed first time ☺️ I highly recommend DSM!

I completed 20 hours of lessons with Simon Howe. I found him impatient and he often overstated the difficulty of the test and my mistakes. He declined to take me to my test the day before, saying he didn’t want to risk his reputation with examiners. I later passed on my first attempt with a different, more relaxed instructor. I waited until after passing to leave an objective review. I’m giving two stars because he did share a few useful techniques.

He will tell you when you are ready for your test, and keep asking if you have booked it yet once you are (so this to Me shows he isn’t about keeping you in lessons, to earn more money)
