This is a great driving school. Customer service helpful and easy payment system. My instructor Gavin has been amazing. I’m really grateful for his patience with me and for encouraging me when I have been lacking in self-confidence. Every lesson was full of practise, Gavin was always happy to answer my questions and he tailored each lesson to my learning needs. Highly recommended Rob Gibson as a driving instructor. After having three other instructors before, Rob was by far the best. I came to Rob wanting to pass before 07/04 and he took on the challenge. Very professional driving instructor. Made me feel comfortable driving and not nervous. My confidence rocketed. Thank you for putting up with my weirdness 😂 and constantly talking to myself. I did my instructor training with Daniel absolutely brilliant training and he pushed me each week to get me through my test. We had some great fun whilst learning as well as serious times when it was needed. Personally I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to get me through my training with the help and support Daniel gave me was brilliant. It was hard work but it all paid off in the end. Read Less

I just want to say a big thank you to the Driving School Southwest for helping me pass my driving lesson first time! After having a rocky start with another driving school and feeling I wasn’t getting anywhere I found a few reviews of the Driving School SW and gave them a call. Daniel has been a tremendous teacher. There was never a dull moment and I felt I learnt something new or at least improved on my skills with every lesson. The feedback at the end of every lesson helped also, Dan highlighted what I’d done well and what I needed to work on and we always discussed things such as manoeuvres in-depth before attempting them. There is free Theory tuition as well which was amazing for preparing and revising for Theory test. All in all I cannot recommend the Driving School SW enough. If you are considering taking driving lessons in the Southwest I would definitely say go with them. Read Less

I would have no hesitation in recommending Daniel & his instructors at Driving School South West. I have a friend from Brazil who although she already had her licence needed to take a UK test. She doesn't speak much English but she was really well looked after and passed her test with flying colours even though the steering wheel was on the opposite side of the car from what she was used to!
