Andi took on our daughter 3 days after her 17th birthday. He was fantastic with her, building her confidence and making her know she could do it.
Within 5 months she had passed both her theory and then her practical. Completely down to Andi being a really professional and confident trainer! Thank you so much for your time and patience Andi. Thanks most of all for giving us our own personal taxi!!!!

I've had Andi for a few lessons and for someone who says he's worked with disabled people I didn't get that, it all felt rushed like we were going at his rate cause he knew better even though I have told him that I wasn't ready for the situations he was putting me in which ended up with my crying, I wouldn't recommend him really however anyone looking for someone should get a hold of belt up driving school, they are truly amazing and have helped me so much.

I have taken lessons with Andi over the summer (June to August) and he has been nothing less than first-class. Having needed to pass my test before returning to University Andi has been calm, patient and very encouraging, leading me to pass first time. I now feel I am a confident and safe driver. He has also offered me lessons in my own car to make sure I am comfortable with a different vehicle. He has offered everything I've needed to be a fully competent driver. Thanks Andi.

Fantastic instructor - would highly recommend!
After a not-so-positive experience with a previous driving school, Andi made me feel confident with my driving, before and after my test! Really great guy - chatty and friendly which made me feel really at ease when driving, patient and encouraging during lessons, and I never felt like I was too far out of my comfort zone.
Towards the test date, the lessons were really about me, what I wanted to go over, anything I felt I wanted to work on, and so on. Even after passing I still have his support and advice available to me and that means a lot to a first time driver.
He's experienced, knowledgeable, and very good at his job (his full diary speaks for that!). For anyone scared about learning to drive in Plymouth because of the horror stories they may have heard, I would recommend Andi wholeheartedly - at first I was nervous about learning to drive here, but if you can do it here, you can do it anywhere - my lessons and experience with Andi has really set me up for real world driving and I don't feel anxious at all now.
Overall; lovely guy, a fantastic driving instructor, and a good choice for anyone.

Andi is a fantastic driving instructor. My 17 yr old daughter just passed her test today in Plymouth under his diligent care. He has been excellent throughout - from the first time we spoke on the phone - very approachable, extremely organised and punctual with appointments as well as being highly professional and knowledgeable in his driving instruction.
He would always have time for a debrief with me as a parent and I would then focus my time with my daughter's driving on those aspects which he suggested needed attention.
I did like his offer of the first hour free which allowed my daughter to see if she would get on with him and vice-versa! Teaching someone to drive can be challenging and you both need to like each other.
In conclusion, I would have no hesitation in recommending Andi to you if you are looking for a driving instructor in the Plymouth area.

I have taken lessons with Andi over the summer (June to August) and he has been nothing less than first-class. Having needed to pass my test before returning to University Andi has been calm, patient and very encouraging, leading me to pass first time. I now feel I am a confident and safe driver. Andi is a fantastic driving instructor. My 17 yr old daughter just passed her test today in Plymouth under his diligent care. He has been excellent throughout - from the first time we spoke on the phone - very approachable, extremely organised and punctual with appointments as well as being highly professional and knowledgeable in his driving instruction.
