I was looking for a female instructor in Exeter in April and I could not find any. Then I was lucky (or not) to find Taylor Made Driving. The female instructor Jenny was available so I booked in. To start with, it went very well. Even if I noticed that in a two hours lesson, we stopped quite often and chatting a lot but at that point I did not realise that it should not be like this. After 20 hours, I decided to book for my driving test knowing that I would have at least 15 hours left before the test date. This is when all went wrong. She was crossed and told me that I should have waited until she told me to do so. I explained, I just booked it but If I was not ready would cancel. At that point at every lesson, she started to undermine me, nearly shouting at me. She was not as patient as she used to be. She kept telling me that I was not ready (which I knew) and that I would not be. That I would fail because of my personal circumstances, too much pressure. I did not understand. And one morning, we were doing pedestrian crossings. She brought me to the city centre and then she was so stressed. She told me that she was braking for me all the time but why? She should have told me to allow me to correct. And suddenly stopped me and told me that I was too dangerous and if I was driving like this again she would end my lesson as it was too tiring for her. At that point I burst into tears. And she kept talking to me telling me that I was putting to much pressure on myself . At no point, she questioned herself and realised that it was her behaviour . After that lesson I decided to stop. Learning to drive should be a nice experience and noone should accept to be bullied or accept any kind of abusive behaviour. I contact Taylor Made Driving to cancel all my booked lessons and to my surprise, they did not ask why. For all these reasons, because they should care about a client, I will absolutely not recommend them. Today I have passed my test and it was thanks to another driving instructor (if you live in Exeter and looking for a female instructor, please do check my reviews). Read Less
