Ignition Driving School was recommended to me by a mixture of family members and friends who had received top quality driving lessons. From my first lesson with Andy it became obvious that I was going to enjoy my learning experience and that I was going to be test ready not only fairly quickly, but also with a lot of confidence. Andy made me feel very confident behind the controls and from the first lesson gave me a lot of independence; driving on roads straight away and building up experience to tackle busier roads. I couldn't possibly fault my experience with this company. Not only did I recieve top class tuition, but I felt very welcomed by the company as a whole. A mixture of friendliness and professionalism definitely made me feel comfortable in the driver's seat, which is an attribute that I still hold now and one that I am grateful to Andy for. I enjoy driving and would go as far to say that almost every time I drive my own car, I think back to my lessons with Andy and continue to practise the methods he taught me. I turned to Ignition driving school after having a bad experience with another instructor. Caroline gave me a wonderful chat about how I could drive with their tutor Andy. So I had a lesson and Andy gave me an estimate of when I could pass. So I booked another lesson. The next two lessons went by and I realised Andy wasn't suggesting to book multiple lessons at a time and nor did he suggest I book my test. After politely enquiring about this (as I was getting anxious that tests were getting booked for the month I was estimated to pass) I received an arsey voicemail from the head of the company rudely suggesting I find another instructor. I did not reply to this voicemail to say that I would find another instructor as I was busy trying to one. This lead to them cancelling the next lesson I'd already booked with them, without notifying me - giving it to someone else "more desperate". To my shock as well as cancelling my lesson, Caroline and Andy refused to give me any future lessons saying that they were "too busy to understand their calendar". I am frankly appalled at the lack of proffesionalism. I was not even given my instructors contact number and was never able to book more than one lesson at a time, never sooner than a week later (I booked and paid for multiple at a time with my previous instructor) If you want to pass within the century find another driving school as it seems ignition string you along, getting as many lessons as possible out of you before a test. I'm sure Andy is a genuinely good instructor but my experience with the company as a whole and the lack of organisation between the married couple (she had no idea of his availability) has put me off and wasted my time and money. They said they would only book multiple lessons if their sole aim was making money. However every other instructor I've heard of allows you to book lessons ahead of time giving you the ability to plan your own life around them. GO ELSEWHERE Read Less
