Trevor really taught me how to drive. I didn’t think it was possible to pass my test before I met Trevor. I have been learning how to drive since 2019 on and off and I’ve had 5 instructors, Trevor being the 5th one. Trevor has taught me everything I need to know and I am super grateful. I suffer with really bad anxiety especially on the road. I’ve been told by a previous instructor to give up manual and go to automatic however that’s not what i wanted. Trevor showed me there is nothing wrong with my ability to drive and mentioned that no one has taught me the right way. I honestly cried and gave Trevor a massive hug once I passed my test (Manual car). Trevor also changed my Mind set and helped me to believe in myself. If you're looking for a driving instructor in Brentwood & the surrounding areas, I can't recommend Trevor enough. After starting my driving journey again in my 30s after a long break, I had to start from scratch, as well as learn how to manage any new found anxiety that comes with being a little bit older. Trev's knowledge and expertise is unmatched. He gives you practical, easy-to-remember methods and builds your skills and knowledge over time at a pace that matches your abilities and confidence. The thing that makes him special, however is how well he reads people, and adapts the way he delivers his teaching to fit the way your brain works, so that you truly understand and properly implement the methods. The way he teaches means that good habits stick from the very start, and you build a robust driving skillset that sees you through any situation on the road - even when other drivers make them unpredictable. It's because of this that I not only felt ready to pass my test, but to drive independently on my own safely and confidently. Trev is patient but efficient, super honest but reassuring, and during every lesson you know you'll make progress and have a laugh - even if you're having an off day. Most of all, he gives you the belief in your own abilities required to be a competent, safe and responsible driver beyond your lessons (even if you have the odd wobble and need a pep talk along the way!).
