We have had a wonderful experience with Rod, he is without question an outstanding instructor and teacher - calm, dependable and completely trustworthy with gentle humour, and the nicest man you could hope to meet.
My daughter enjoyed her lessons immensely, his manner gave her confidence in her own ability and she went from strength to strength. Rod has a methodical and dedicated approach blended with so much teaching experience. We feel genuinely blessed to have found Rod.
My daughter passed first time, with only three minors and was absolutely thrilled to have passed her test. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. We can highly recommend Cloud driving school, and thank you sincerely to Rod for his care, diligence and kindness.

Honestly cannot recommend Rod enough, I was really quite nervous to start driving and he put mind completely at ease. Never made me feel bad for making mistakes and calmly directed me through everything. In the end, thanks to Rod’s teaching, I was able to pass first time with only one fault - something I couldn’t even comprehend happening to me a year ago. I will really miss my weekly lessons with him.

Like many of the people writing here, when I started lessons it felt impossible that I could be driving around Gloucester feeling anything other than a total rabbit in the headlights. I wanted not just to pass but also to feel competent and confident on the road. And that's exactly how I now feel. I waited a good few months for a spot with Rod, but it was absolutely worth it. He teaches not just how to pass, but how to drive well. He's incredibly professional - punctual, communicative, respectful. He helped me to learn not just with words, but by setting me up to experience things for myself and calmly putting me right. He was truly invested in my success and took great care to give me the best possible chance of doing well on test day. And I did! You're a credit to your profession Rod.

I can’t thank Rod enough for helping me to pass my driving test first time! From our first lesson, he made me feel completely at ease. His patience, kindness and friendly approach made learning to drive so enjoyable. I’ll miss our chats and laughs too! He was so committed to personalising each lesson to suit my needs and progress; ensuring that I felt calm, confident and prepared for the test. I also really appreciated how he went above and beyond to secure me an earlier test date! I passed quickly and it was surprisingly stress-free thanks to him. Such a good instructor- thank you so much and I wish you all the best for the future!

Rod's a great driving instructor that got me to pass where two other instructors had failed. He breaks down your driving at any stage required and explains it to you so that you understand exactly what is needed of any situation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rod to anyone wishing to pass.

Rod is an impeccable driving instructor, his feedback is always constructive and really helps to make you improve your driving ability. I would highly recommend getting in touch with him for driving lessons. Also he is a good laugh to be with, especially if you are not a confident driver like myself.

Highly recommended. Passed first time today after 3 years learning with various other instructors before switching to Rod. He is very easy going and makes lessons actually enjoyable... mostly.

Would highly recommend Rod, I passed today first time with only 2 minors! He's an effective, fun and very knowledgeable instructor who clearly taught me very well!

We have had a wonderful experience with Rod, he is without question an outstanding instructor and teacher - calm, dependable and completely trustworthy with gentle humour, and the nicest man you could hope to meet.

Honestly cannot recommend Rod enough, I was really quite nervous to start driving and he put mind completely at ease. Never made me feel bad for making mistakes and calmly directed me through everything. Like many of the people writing here, when I started lessons it felt impossible that I could be driving around Gloucester feeling anything other than a total rabbit in the headlights. I wanted not just to pass but also to feel competent and confident on the road. And that's exactly how I now feel. I waited a good few months for a spot with Rod, but it was absolutely worth it. I can’t thank Rod enough for helping me to pass my driving test first time! From our first lesson, he made me feel completely at ease. His patience, kindness and friendly approach made learning to drive so enjoyable. I’ll miss our chats and laughs too! Rod is an impeccable driving instructor, his feedback is always constructive and really helps to make you improve your driving ability. I would highly recommend getting in touch with him for driving lessons. Also he is a good laugh to be with, especially if you are not a confident driver like myself.
