If you want to pass your driving test on the first time I highly recommend using using thedrivingskool! I passed in Sidcup my first time with only three minors. Mike was an amazing instructor, very thorough and a great teacher. Having used some of the bigger driving schools in the past I can say these guys go over and beyond, and provide a much better service. Thanks Mike!

I was lucky enough to discover Mike and the Driving Skool when my wife and I moved to Chislehurst. Mike was incredibly welcoming, personal and honest, helping me to set out a realistic schedule to match my work commitments and upcoming family arrival.
He was upfront about his (very reasonable) costs and the requirements for booking both my theory and practical test, recommending West Wickham as the test centre. I'd planned to take an intensive course but, at Mike's suggestion, ended up with a combination of weekly lessons followed by a semi-intensive week just before my test. This worked out perfectly and I was happy to pass my test on the first attempt.
During our drives, Mike was great, putting me at ease, offering support (and assertion) when needed, and all whilst being totally aware of our surroundings and in absolute control of the vehicle. He might appear laid back and relaxed but, from experience, he has outstanding reflexes!
Over the course Mike provided a number of training materials to help with the theory of driving, especially for some of the manoeuvres, and the Driving Skool have also put together a number of videos on Youtube.
About the car: I drove in Mike's Mini diesel, it was very comfortable on the inside with leather seats and A/C for the warmer days. On the road it was smooth to drive and had enough driver assist features to help a new driver without relying on them, though it was still quite a shock taking our basic 0.8l petrol out afterwards.
At no point did I ever feel like a 'job', and as my confidence grew it was a pleasure talking to Mike about Chislehurst and the many community events and initiatives he gets involved with.
Overall I had a great learning experience and I'd highly recommend Mike and the Driving Skool.

Just passed my test at Sidcup test centre first time thanks to the help of Julie. I done a 2 week intensive course of around 4 hours a day with Julie. She is a fantastic instructor and has the patience of a saint. I had never driven before and she really explains everything in great detail to really get you understanding the car and the roads. Everyday I felt more and more confident in my abilities.... She has some fantastic tips and tricks for all the maneuvers and made the whole experience and incredibly enjoyable one. I would recommend everyone to use The Driving Skool as they have been great from start to finish. Thanks again Julie for all your help. See More

I passed my driving test first time last week with only 3 minors which I couldn't have done without Mike. He always made time for me over the weekends and would make sure I was getting the most from my lessons. He's really enthusiastic and loves his job and especially the end result of someone getting over the line. I couldn't recommend the Driving Skool enough

Hey all, I just passed my test on Friday after sitting it for the first time and only had 3 minors. I met Mike in February and we instantly got on and I found his tuition superb. He was willing to see me whenever I wanted and would happily spend as much time with me as possible to get me my license. Can't thank him enough and will definitely stay in touch as he keeps telling me I owe him a few pints

Ive just passed my test today & theres no way i could have done it without my instructor Julie White! Ive been doing my lessons with her since march & from my first lesson she put me at ease, shes amazing with anyone with anxiety as she is so calming & doesnt make you feel stupid if you're nervous or do anything wrong (as she always said to me you cant do anything wrong, you're learning, its everyone else being stupid! ) I would highly recommend the driving skool especially if all their instructors are as lovely as Julie! Thank you so much Julie you're an absolute star!

Mike you are a one of a kind & totally fabulous driving instructor! You clearly love what you do, such a reputable 5* company you run. I did a semi- intensive course and took 30hrs over 2months! Not only did he teach me everything to pass my test, I laughed so much throughout all my lessons. Thank you so much for always being so patient, even on my wobbliest of days (and there were a few). I will genuinely miss our lessons, couldn't recommend you enough!

I was so pleased with my entire experience with this driving school, my instructor Julie was amazing and always did everything she could to put me at ease and help me through my entire learning experience. This driving school was incredibly supportive and gave me a lot of resources and guidance. The instructors are also flexible and managed to always do their best to fit in my lessons at a time that suited me. Overall, this is such a friendly and amazing school that I would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for everything Julie!

The driving school is excellent! Really good instructors I was lucky enough to meet a few of them and they were all reassuring and really good instructors, couldn't have imagined to go anywhere else other than here. I passed my driving test in 2 months due to a really good Instructor, Mike, he really helped me to be able to get my license and was always reliable and always putting me first.

Mike's a 5* guy alright - enthusiastic, professional and really helpful - he and his team of excellent instructors have helped loads of my pupils (intensive courses) and I can only say he runs a brilliant outfit there. This industry (regrettably) contains some disreputable schools, but anyone booking with Mike's school is on to a winner. They know they will find professionalism, fair play, a great service and friendly instructors who don't waste time in getting you ready and fully prepared for your driving test. It's truly a pleasure to know Mike!

Mike's a 5* guy alright - enthusiastic, professional and really helpful - he and his team of excellent instructors have helped loads of my pupils (intensive courses) and I can only say he runs a brilliant outfit there. This industry (regrettably) contains some disreputable schools, but anyone booking with Mike's school is on to a winner. They know they will find professionalism, fair play, a great service and friendly instructors who don't waste time in getting you ready and fully prepared for your driving test. I was lucky enough to discover Mike and the Driving Skool when my wife and I moved to Chislehurst. Mike was incredibly welcoming, personal and honest, helping me to set out a realistic schedule to match my work commitments and upcoming family arrival.

I was so pleased with my entire experience with this driving school, my instructor Julie was amazing and always did everything she could to put me at ease and help me through my entire learning experience. This driving school was incredibly supportive and gave me a lot of resources and guidance. The instructors are also flexible and managed to always do their best to fit in my lessons at a time that suited me. Overall, this is such a friendly and amazing school that I would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for everything Julie!

The driving school is excellent! Really good instructors I was lucky enough to meet a few of them and they were all reassuring and really good instructors, couldn't have imagined to go anywhere else other than here. I passed my driving test in 2 months due to a really good Instructor, Mike, he really helped me to be able to get my license and was always reliable and always putting me first.
