He is a superb instructor that is understanding, supportive and most importantly an excellent teacher when it comes to correcting mistakes in order to build confidence. I passed today with Lou, she is a brilliant instructor. I’d previously had a different instructor who’d knocked my confidence completely but within a few lessons I was happily on the road. Waited 3 weeks for them to get back to me. Finally an instructor called then booked me in, then the day before the lesson he text saying he wasn't feeling well and cancelled. Didn't even bother to reschedule. Waited 5 weeks in total. Very disappointing. I have just seen a response on here, the driving instructor was called John. He never did call to reschedule. Also I must add that when I 1st called I was told it was a 2 week wait for manual lessons I waited a bit longer. That's why I said I waited 5weeks because when John called he said I'd have to wait 2 weeks. Then he cancelled on the day before saying he was unwell. Maybe It was just my luck because most reviews seem quite positive. If I do call back I won't be asking for John as he let me down. Thanks Read Less

Moved to 1st time after taking three failed tests with an instructor from Dave Miller!! Jeanette made me aware of the problems in my driving that my previous instructor had pretended were not there. I wouldn't recommend this school i have had 3 instructors, they were really unprofessional they just want to steal your money and deliberately slow down the process as long as they can, so they can make money of you.They just put you down and make you feel like you will never be able to pass... this was the worst experience of my life.😑😑😑😑 they dont want you to learn they want to make money. I passed my test with flying colours on the 2nd attempt with 1st Time. My instructor was very different from my previous instructor who was from Red who was always late and cancelling the appointment all the time. With my 1st time instructor,I've learned more and became much better driver, he was quite strict but that's the reason why I passed my driving test. I learnt to drive with oumar and passes first time with only 6 faults he was a very good teacher who was able to motivate me and ensure safe driving for life. I made a lot of profession in a short period due to he's can do attitude He made me feel very comfortable around him always made me aware of my mistakes myself. He was always on time to my lessons and was very consistent. I had another driving instructor before oumar and the difference between them is unbelievable I will definitely be recommending him to all friends and family as he was just incredible through my whole journey. A friend recommended Jon Smith from 1st Time School of Motoring and he was great! The Prices were very reasonable, the first 4 lessons were £60.00 and after that, I paid in blocks of 10, which kept the price down a bit more. Jon made me feel at ease when I was learning and was very patient, professional and an overall excellent teacher.
