We are a family run business established in 1965. Over the years the school has taught thousands of people to drive safely. We are well known and respected in the local community having taught up to three generations of the same family. From a recent survey we discovered that over 70% of our customers have been personally recommended to us by friends or family who previously passed with us. Our satisfied customers recommend us again and again. We offer tuition in a number of languages in addition to English including: Italian, Spanish, Urdu, Punjabi, Portuguese, Albanian and French.

I have a new instructor now and in retrospect realize the one from Holborn driving school was not at all well informed or good at teaching. It resulted in me learning much slower than otherwise.
this instructor didn’t put in a lot of effort in actually teaching. We repeated the same roads over and over. They just kept saying I need more practice and just left me drive. The new instructor is constantly challenging me to think about hazards and what I need to do in every situation. It’s a huge difference.
this instructor wasn’t respectful of my time either. They went on 2 weeks holiday with less than a day notice to the next lesson, and just never came back. They always finished 5 mins early and once were late 20 mins without giving me a heads up.
EDIT: I have redacted the parts that the business addressed in their reply below out of fairness. What remains: it seems like inadequate training was provided to the instructor, the instructors should first be observed/ do a mock run with the School that they need to pass before being allowed to work with so many students. The impact is quite great otherwise. In my case, this has really caused a lot of trouble.

Would really recommend using Holborn School of Motoring. My driving instructor Blert was an excellent teacher, providing clear instructions throughout our lessons. Blert was very patient and calm at all times, and boosted my confidence as a driver which I feel definitely helped me pass my test on the first try. I also completed the Pass Plus course with Blert and would highly recommend this to all new on licensed drivers looking to build on their skills and become a more competent road user.

I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Holborn School of Motoring. The team was had great communication which made it easy to make payments and to schedule lessons. While I previously had my US license, I wanted to obtain my UK license. As a working professional, I was able to schedule lessons before the workday and be dropped off at my office very conveniently! Shefi was a super instructor with calming presence yet provided strong tips and encouragement that helped me pass my test first-try. Thank you!

Holborn School of Motoring provide a professional, first-class and efficient service. They are very pleasant to deal with and extremely thorough with their driving tuition. My son had Khurram as his instructor and had his first test last week: he passed! This was after around 50 hours tuition; I think the average is around 40-45 hours. It is a financial commitment, but this being the case whichever driving school you choose, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Holborn School of Motoring. Thank you to all who work there.

Excellent driving school. Switched to Holborn after having two lessons with a terrible instructor from Red – should've come here first, without question! A big shout out to Rob who is an excellent instructor!!Taught me everything there is to know and more and always was calm and professional; he's definitely a great asset to the school and helped secure that pass! The car that I learnt in was a new Toyota Yaris which was a pleasure to drive on lessons and in the test. Couldn't recommend them enough!!

Rude staff working at office. Not helpful at all. They do not care for the customers because their motto is “we are to busy to care”. Poor driving instructors, they speak to you the whole time your driving and distract you. Then when you make a mistake they pressure you for it and state you will need to pay for more lessons to learn from the mistake. Overall a really crappy service from them. I’d advise completely against even considering them unless you want to be treated like an idiot. There are so many other schools available close by, please don’t waste your time with Holborn.

Brilliant driving school. I passed my test back in December 2010. I had Shefi as my instructor and he was so patient and calm. I used take lessons with another company long time ago with a female instructor. She used to make me feel stupid if I didn't do something right and made me lose my confidence of driving. After over a decade I wanted to learn again and was determined to pass. My sister in law recommended shefi and told me how good and patient he is. My first lesson with shefi he made me felt so welcome and relaxed and was surprised how I didn't even go for a test. He told me to book my theory which I did and passed 1st time. After 2 hours each week of 19 lessons I booked my test (unfortunately I didn't pass 1st time, due to nerves) after failing shefi was still giving me the confidence and said not to worry and told me to book my test again asap. I passed my test on my 2nd attempt. My sister in law and my sister also took lessons with Shefi and have passed.

Several things stand out to me in my experience of learning with the Holborn School of Motoring; first that at all times the instructor and staff at the office are both totally professional and always affable and patient. I never once felt that I was under pressure or being unfairly scrutinised. Secondly it is clear that this is a business that cares deeply about its students; they want you to do well and be safe and will be clear and fair with you about your preparedness for testing.
I passed first time after about six months of weekly lessons and if you need any further encouragement my invigilator at test took my instructor's business card for their son!
I cannot fault the school in any way; I'm sorry not to be learning any more as it has been so enjoyable.

Poor driving instructors, they speak to you the whole time your driving and distract you.
