I recently passed my driving test, and I couldn’t have done it without Ian.
After being with three different instructors before Ian, I can confidently say that he excelled in building my confidence and helping me progress where i felt other instructors simply were unable to.
Ian is an incredibly honest and sincere driving instructor who is truly committed to helping his students succeed. He has a very professional demeanour and always remains calm and composed, even when I made serious or dangerous mistakes.
Ian never shouts, instead, he deals with errors in a patient and understanding manner, making sure you learn from them.
He is also highly focused on achieving your goals and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure you’re confident and ready not only for your test but for driving even long after that.
I highly recommend Ian to anyone looking for a driving instructor who is professional, supportive, and genuinely invested in your success.

I first started driving with Ian after being recommended to him by a friend , he always made me feel safe and comfortable during our lessons and he always explained things in a way that made it easy for me to grasp and understand. I always looked forward to my lessons with Ian as not only was it a step closer to my full license it was also a good laugh. I feel like most instructors teach you how to pass your test but Ian taught me how to drive safely on the road and if I ever got too stressed out in the lesson he would always calm me down and help me which I am especially grateful for as I suffer from bad anxiety. I would recommend Ian as an instructor if anyone is looking to learn how to drive.

My mum chose Ian as my driving instructor after reading his reviews and his qualifications. I can honestly say that I enjoyed my lessons with Ian and he made everything understandable. I always felt confident enough to ask Ian if I didn’t understand, and he would find a way to explain it differently so that I would. He never got angry or shouted at me, but always remained calm and built my confidence. He remained flexible to fit in with my schedule and he never let me down with lessons and was always on time/early. I felt confident when I went for my test, and I passed first time. I would highly recommend Ian for anyone looking to drive. Thank you so much for your help Ian.

I had two other driving instructors before I started with Ian, and I can honestly say I found Ian to be better than the other two. I found he was calmer and patient, explaining things well to me. I felt comfortable enough to ask him questions on things I was unsure about. He was good at picking up on where I needed to make improvements and this helped me make faster progress and grow in confidence. He also never let me down with lesson times and was very punctual. I feel as if it was value for money. I passed my test with my first attempt and would recommend Ian to anyone looking for instructors in Bolton. Thanks, Ian. Callum.

I had a very enjoyable experience learning to drive with Ian. Ian is very reliable he would always be on time and would always work around my college timetable in order to give me the best suitable time for my lesson. At first the 2 hour driving lesson seemed overwhelming, however Ian made me feel very comfortable from the beginning which increased my confidence.
Ian is an excellent instructor, he is very calm, patient and is able to explain anything you don't understand. His method of teaching really suited me as he would create a reflective log which allowed me to go back to see what improvements I had to make for my next lesson. Today I passed my test first time and wouldn't have done it without Ian. I would recommend Ian to anyone!

I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Ian. I always felt relaxed and Ian kept it fun but I was always learning new things. Ian was always very good at explaining things and if I didn't understand he was happy to repeat it in a different way to help me understand. He has some great apps on his iPad which really helped me to understand what I needed to do in certain situations. We only stopped to talk when we needed to. We did lots of driving. Couldnt have asked for a better instructor! I would definitely recommend you give Ian a call if you are looking for driving lessons in Bolton. I am so happy today, buzzing with excitement that I passed my test first time!

Ian is a very patient with everything and never made me feel under pressure or embarrassed when I couldn't do anything at first. This allowed me to progress at my own pace. Ian was also amazing at explaining how to do anything I was unsure about, I felt like I could ask Ian anything and he would have no problem answering no matter the question. I feel like my lessons were real value for money as we did a lot of driving and only talked when necessary. Ian was always very punctual when arriving to pick me up for my lesson and was able to fit me in around my schedule. I would happily recommend Ian to anyone who is learning to drive.

Ian is an absolutely fantastic Driving instructor he is patient and goes through ever aspect of your drive with a tooth comb. when i started with Ian i thought i could drive already however this wasn't the case and Ian literally ironed out all my bad habits from driving previous. Ian is fantastic and i would happily recommend him to anyone that wants to pass. He is always early for his lessons and is always happy to help as he did with my theory test. My overall experience with Ian is great and i cant praise him enough especially as i passed my test today with ease :).

I am so happy to say that today I passed my driving test first time after having driving lessons with Ian!
I had previously had lessons with another instructor and it had really knocked my confidence...
I am so happy to say that today I passed my driving test first time after having driving lessons with Ian!
I had previously had lessons with another instructor and it had really knocked my confidence and I was convinced I wouldn't ever learn to drive. However I decided to persevere and find another instructor and fortunately I found Ian!
Ian is a fantastic instructor, he is always on time for lessons, he explains everything very clearly and he helped me to overcome my fear of roundabouts!
Ian's lessons allowed me to have lots of driving time and I was given feedback at the end of each lesson in a reflective log, which was emailed to me so I could read over it and I knew exactly what I needed to work on, on my next lesson.
Ian I can't thank you enough for helping me pass, I really couldn't of done it without you !

Ian is a very friendly driving instructor and very easy to get a long with. Ian made the lessons easy to understand, and if at any time I wasnt sure, I felt fine asking him to explain things in a different way. He was never late for my lessons and mostly he was early. From my first lesson Ian got me driving, and we always did lots of driving each lesson. We only stopped when he had to explain something new, or to discuss how I could improve what I’d just done. I have already recommended Ian to a friend and some family members. You will not be disappointed if you choose to have lessons with Ian. So give him a call and find out for yourself. I took my driving test with Ian today and passed First Time. Thank you so much Ian

I enjoyed my driving lessons with Ian. I'm am learning so many things I didn't know and now I know them well. I am Hungarian man and English not my first language so Ian was easy and kind and helpful in careful explanation. If I not understand well he explain again. I'm very happy. I am so happy today I pass my driving test first time. I am going to tell others to have lessons I will very much recommend Ian. He is very good instructor and you should try for yourself anyway. I give him top marks always.

I enjoyed it with "Bolton Driving Lessons"
Ian was a great instructor, you get more than what you pay for when you learn from him. He didn't just help me pass my test but improve me to become a better and safer driver, he also give his advanced driving skill and technique in the lesson to help me improve my driving to a higher standard. Ian explains or illustrates things very well so I can understand and pick it up very quickly. He is always early at my place as he leaves plenty of time through his schedule.
I would recommend Ian at Road Light Driver because you will get 110% value for what you are paying for.

I just passed my driving test with Ian, BEST FEELING EVER!! I took around 15 lessons and from the get go it was a success. Ian was educative, calm and very helpful throughout my lessons. Taking the lessons in the new Audi A3 really made my test easy as it was very easy to drive and that's just the start of it. I've had other instructors in the past but none of them are as equipped or up to date with the technology used to enhance the learning I acquired. Ian was supportive at all time and very easy to understand as he will point out all the faults in the driving, explain it to the learner and train the learner until it becomes second nature. Thanks to Ian @ Road Light Training I got my licence before the New Year, which was the target we set at the start of the programme. (Started Nov 7, Finished Dec 13 2016).

I first started driving with Ian after being recommended to him by a friend , he always made me feel safe and comfortable during our lessons and he always explained things in a way that made it easy for me to grasp and understand. Ian is an absolutely fantastic Driving instructor he is patient and goes through ever aspect of your drive with a tooth comb. when i started with Ian i thought i could drive already however this wasn't the case and Ian literally ironed out all my bad habits from driving previous.
