I highly recommend my driving instructor to anyone looking for a professional, patient, and supportive teacher. He was always punctual, usually arriving a few minutes before each lesson, and if he was ever delayed, he always let me know in advance. Throughout my lessons, he remained honest, encouraging, calm, and respectful. Even when I made the same mistakes repeatedly, he never raised his voice or showed frustration. Instead, he patiently explained everything again, encouraged me to keep trying, and gradually built my confidence. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to anticipate hazards. He was always scanning the road ahead, intervening early whenever necessary, and taking control before any situation became dangerous, which made me feel safe throughout my lessons. His teaching methods are excellent. He broke down difficult manoeuvres into simple, easy-to-understand steps and had me practise them repeatedly until I became confident. He also used diagrams to explain roundabouts, junctions, lane discipline, and other complex situations. The written notes and instructions he provided were incredibly helpful and made it much easier to revise between lessons. He is positive, polite, and genuinely cares about his students' progress. I would especially recommend him to anyone who struggles with anxiety or is nervous about driving, as he creates a calm and reassuring learning environment. I have fibromyalgia, so learning to drive took me longer than it might for the average person. However, he accepted this as a challenge and supported me every step of the way without ever making me feel rushed or discouraged. My advice to other learners is to work hard, practise consistently, and review your instructor's notes after each lesson.
