After failing my test twice over 10 years ago I was very nervious to try again. I emailed Steve who got stright back to me and arranged my first lesson within the next week. From then on it was 1 lesson a week and fast forward to today when I passed my test. Steve has been the most supportive and understanding instructor as well as being very knowledgeable and putting up with my highs, lows and all the bits inbetween on my driving journey. I booked a lesson with Steve and paid £80 in advance. Because public transport in North Wales is so rare, we had to leave well in advance and wait in Pwllheli for more than an hour before the lesson was due to start. On the day, our bus simply didn’t turn up. With the next bus we would be about 15 minutes late, so I informed Steve as soon as it became clear we’d missed ours and offered to pay extra for him to pick us up from our village. As Steve was clearly not interested, he cancelled the lesson and suggested rebooking for two days later. I agreed – but then he disappeared for more than a week and did not respond to my messages. Steve offers to rebook again, but we no longer need any lessons as we are moving. Obviously, I was not able to get a refund. Poor communication, no flexibility, and no refund for a lesson that never took place – I cannot recommend this driving school. Lilia Read Less
