My son Jack wasnt sure if he wanted to learn to drive initally and then all of a sudden said he wanted to so I had to find a instructor who could accomodate asap before he changed his mind. I made contact with Lendrums driving School end of Feb 2026. I explained how anxious Jack gets and explained i was looking to get him started asap so Lendrums put us in contact with driving instructor Sam who managed to accommodate Jack a week later. Jack started driving lessons on 2nd March 2026 and passed today (29/6/2026) first time. Sam has been amazing. He went out of his way to come and meet Jack before his first lesson and made Jack feel really comfortable during his lessons. Sam has gone above and beyond and explain how each lesson went to myself too. I would highly recommend Sam from Lendrums Driving School.

I did training with John in preparation for my Part 3 ADI exam. I thoroughly recommend him if you are looking for help to become a driving instructor. Very friendly, keeps things simple to understand and supports you the whole way. I felt grateful to have John to help me successfully pass my final exam

Working with Lendrums was very smooth and easy and was further a great experience when Franklin was made my instructor. He was a very patient teacher and showed me the basics from an absolute beginner to a confident driver. We practised on private side roads and he knew exactly when I was ready for each next step. Albeit my test was elsewhere, Franklin taught me skills to drive anywhere and so for that I passed first time. Highly recommend.

Passed first time with only 1 minor, all thanks to Christine. From my first nervous lesson right through to my last, she's been wonderful; always upbeat, gives clear instructions, always reminding of the important little things, remained calm when i'd made a mistake, explains why I didn't get into that parking space, tells me how I can fit perfectly into that bay the next time. Practice makes perfect and every few lessons we'd go back over a manoeuvre or two to keep me in check, even turn-in-the-road which I really didn't like (funnily enough I had to do one on my test). I honestly believe I wouldn't have done as well as I did if it wasn't for Christine, a brilliant teacher and a joy to be around.

John was fantastic from start to finish. John cares about his pupils and gives them every opportunity to succeed. John is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very easily approachable which is great for new drivers. I was taught a lot over my time with John and I passed first time. I would highly recommend John and Lendrum's Driving School. Thank you!

My instructor Nevin was absolutely lovely. Very patient with me as a nervous first time driver, and gave me clear, easy to understand instructions for learning. She was quite tough on me, but only because she knew I was capable of more than I thought! Very good teaching especially for manoeuvres. She also has a great understanding of the test style so I felt as prepared as possible for it.

My son Jack wasnt sure if he wanted to learn to drive initally and then all of a sudden said he wanted to so I had to find a instructor who could accomodate asap before he changed his mind. I made contact with Lendrums driving School end of Feb 2026. Working with Lendrums was very smooth and easy and was further a great experience when Franklin was made my instructor. He was a very patient teacher and showed me the basics from an absolute beginner to a confident driver. We practised on private side roads and he knew exactly when I was ready for each next step. Passed first time with only 1 minor, all thanks to Christine. John was fantastic from start to finish. John cares about his pupils and gives them every opportunity to succeed. John is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very easily approachable which is great for new drivers. I was taught a lot over my time with John and I passed first time. My instructor Nevin was absolutely lovely. Very patient with me as a nervous first time driver, and gave me clear, easy to understand instructions for learning.
