I am interested in getting back to motorcycling after a break approaching 40 years! I gave up due to a near miss on a works bike in the 1980's.
I told James what I wanted (I already have a full licence) and the previous bikes ridden and that I hadn't been near one for so long.
James put me on a Honda 500 cc after a talk through of the bike, and after a ride through the nearby Industrial Estate we were soon in Hereford town and then on the open roads through nearby villages. All very strange with modern gear and the head piece through which James chatted as I rode infront. I was very rusty after so long away but really enjoyed the intensive two hours Return To Motorcycle course.
James gave me advice on our return on me not using the rear brake enough (which was correct) and to get myself a bike and just practice.
I did contact other companies but they were not able to fit me in for quite a while BUT James was loads cheaper. So, not only did James offer more than the other companies, it was much cheaper and tailored to fit what I needed.
Highly recommended. James was very patient. I loved the ride and now looking to get me a bike!

I recently did my motorbike training with James Robison Motorcycle School, and honestly, I wish all adult education came with this much patience and good humour!
James, my instructor, was absolutely brilliant, calm, encouraging, and somehow managed to make every part of the training feel relaxed and enjoyable. He explained everything clearly and made sure I felt confident (and safe!) at every step. I actually started looking forward to the lessons!
Sally deserves a medal for how smoothly she organised everything. From booking to paperwork, she made the whole process feel effortless.
If you’re thinking about getting on two wheels, don’t hesitate, this school is fantastic. Professional, friendly, and they genuinely care about helping you become a confident, safe rider.
Thank you so much, James and Sally, you were both amazing!

Excellent experience here at James Robinson I had my CBT in which I completed but it certainly wouldn't have been when I did if they didn't work around the time I could get in as my bus was a no show so they did my test regardless of me being 3-4 hours late turning up. Very friendly team and a nice atmosphere Holly is a really nice receptionist there will let you know anything you would want to know. James is also really nice can be described as "stubborn" but all said and done he's not really their to be your friend he's just there to hopefully sign you off by ensuring your safe on the road. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

I initially completed my CBT with them and was impressed by the professional and effective training provided. Based on that positive experience, I decided to pursue my full licence with them as well. Throughout the entire process, I received consistently professional and reliable service in every aspect. All my tests were booked promptly and in an organised manner. I can confidently say you can’t go wrong choosing them.

Excellent service! Just done my third cbt here and as the past 2 have been it conducted excellently, the guys really know their stuff and adapt perfectly to each student, feedback for each manoeuvre is spot on and they go the extra mile and even when you've finished they tell you what you can practice doing and how you can do it. I've finally decided to try and get my a2 done and got great advice on that as well, an estimate of how long it would take for me and it was all explained how it would be conducted. Will definitely be using them for all my bike licence needs until I get my full A licence.

I've just been reading some of the bad reviews on here, I passed my test with Mike in December 2015 and can honestly say I felt I was given everything needed to pass my DAS.

I've just been reading some of the bad reviews on here, I passed my test with Mike in December 2015 and can honestly say I felt I was given everything needed to pass my DAS.
Admittedly the site they use is a bit past its best but I'm led to believe this is more to with Herefordshire Council having meant to have found them a better location.
I can only imagine some of these bad reviews are from people who actually found they couldn't ride a bike. It's a really shame the public love to leave bad reviews but so rarely positive ones!

CBT is not a pass or fail course. Although he hammerd home that he could fail us and lorded this over us. The training was good and we all did well. Im sure its changed since. At least i hope it has

They are only interested in money making not quality of training. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

I am interested in getting back to motorcycling after a break approaching 40 years! I gave up due to a near miss on a works bike in the 1980's.
I told James what I wanted (I already have a full licence) and the previous bikes ridden and that I hadn't been near one for so long.

I recently did my motorbike training with James Robison Motorcycle School, and honestly, I wish all adult education came with this much patience and good humour!

Excellent experience here at James Robinson I had my CBT in which I completed but it certainly wouldn't have been when I did if they didn't work around the time I could get in as my bus was a no show so they did my test regardless of me being 3-4 hours late turning up. Excellent service! Just done my third cbt here and as the past 2 have been it conducted excellently, the guys really know their stuff and adapt perfectly to each student, feedback for each manoeuvre is spot on and they go the extra mile and even when you've finished they tell you what you can practice doing and how you can do it. I've finally decided to try and get my a2 done and got great advice on that as well, an estimate of how long it would take for me and it was all explained how it would be conducted. I've just been reading some of the bad reviews on here, I passed my test with Mike in December 2015 and can honestly say I felt I was given everything needed to pass my DAS.
Admittedly the site they use is a bit past its best but I'm led to believe this is more to with Herefordshire Council having meant to have found them a better location.
