I trained with HSM driver training. What a great bunch of guys! Dan, Roy and Matt were superb. From the first contact I had with them, asking questions about price and conditions, to the condition of the vehicles and the super quality of the training they provided me with, meant I passed both my C1 and D1 cats first time with no problems at all. All thanks to their knowledge, experience and patience in explaining it all. The whole experience was easy and pleasant, from start to finish. I had failed a few tests before with different instructors so had completely given up hope of passing! Then I got Roy as an instructor and he was so patient and had a very relaxed approached to teaching. I was an extremely nervous driver but Roy’s calm teaching manner and sense of humour slowly helped build up my confidence to be a better driver so I was able to pass my test in the end! Our daughter had been driving for a year and just needed a few lessons to help get her ready for her driving test which had been booked for April. Roy was great he found out exactly what she wanted help with and gave her tips to help her perfect her manoeuvres. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons saying that Roy put her at ease & was very friendly & helpful. I'd like to give a well-earned "shout out" to Roy for how well he taught me how to drive. Roy has a very friendly, relaxed, no pressure approach and a great sense of humour. To me, his style is more like that of a mentor than a teacher in that he really dedicates himself to making sure you get all the knowledge and skills so you can pass the test. He's really good at explaining the "why" behind what he wants to show you, so you can pick it up quicker and remember it longer. I can't say enough about how Roy made learning to drive be fun.
