I second the other reviews, I had him as an instructor back in 2018 and took joy in shouting. Made me 'practice' clutch control on a steep hill, every time i got it wrong he would scream at me, smash his hand on the dashboard and give me no grace. After 3 lessons i turned to him and said 'you're supposed to teach me, not shout' and he continued on and in a haste shouted at me to get out of the car and into the passenger seat as he'd decided that I wasn't good enough to be taught anymore. Ironicall a few years later i joined the RAF and passed my driving test after a week intensive where i was told i was excellent and encouraged. DO NOT TAKE A LESSON FROM THIS AWFUL MAN Read Less

Please do not book this driving by instructior he’s disgusting. I had him as an instructor in 2021 when I was a student in Canterbury and I was honestly in a rush to find a driving instructor because I booked a test very early the first lesson with him was a disaster granted I wasn’t prepared but he kept shouting at me and clapping his hands in my face. Since he told me that I wasn’t prepared (which is true at the time I wasn’t prepared he told me that it was best to book another test which I did book at a later date) I really wanted to change instructor but everyone seemed to be fully booked especially since this was during covid and I was so desperate to drive that I just decided to book with him IN EVERY SINGLE LESSON he would shout if I made a single mistake. He was also a horrible teacher honestly everytime he would try to explain something he would get this huge book and basically read out what the textbook would say instead of practicing. I had enough and I told him that I had anxiety and continually clapping his hands on my face scared me and so did his shouting, his response was well my shouting and clapping isn’t going to hurt you but if you crash in another car that would certainly hurt. That was the last straw for me so I sent him a text telling him that I would no longer need his service as I found another instructor she was amazing however I was so scared to drive because of him that it was extremely difficult for me to get behind the wheel for a while I ended up moving cities and I passed thanks to her and another driving instructor. Please note that there’s a reason that he has no reviews and that’s because he’s garbage. I decided to choose him because I was desperate and honestly he was the only one that had time understandably so because he’s rubbish. But eventhough I was desperate I quit driving for a while because of him. It’s now 2023 and I have passed but I didn’t write a review then because I genuinely thought that I deserves to be shouted at and clapped at because I was a bad driver but there’s no excuse for verbally abusing your student who’s paying you so I found the courage to write this review because I would not want ANYONE to go through what I went through honestly I couldn’t drive for a while because of how traumatised he made me. Please do not book him there’s a reason he has no reviews. He’s disgusting and I hope he gets revoked as an instructor he should not be allowed to teach shame on you. Read Less
