I had a really frustrating experience with this driving instructor, especially considering I already had my driving test booked.
In the lead-up to my test, I expected reliability and proper support, but instead lessons were inconsistent and communication was poor. This added unnecessary stress at a time when I needed structured guidance the most.
Rather than helping me feel prepared and confident, the instruction often felt disorganised and unhelpful. Feedback wasn’t always clear, and I didn’t feel like my progress or the urgency of my upcoming test was taken seriously.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this instructor—particularly if you’re working towards a test date and need someone dependable and focused on getting you ready.

Chris is the best driving instructor, I was super nervous about learning to drive but Chris made me feel welcome and supported during the lessons. He’s a kind and amazing teacher and is very patient and always supportive. I wouldn’t have passed my test if it wasn’t for Chris. I would recommend him to anyone as a driving instructor. If he can help me pass my test, he can help anyone.

Chris is a very good, professional driving instructor, my experience with him was great, he's very good with his instructions and methods that helped me massively with everything. With Chris I got a first time pass with only 1 minor( best feeling ever ) I couldn't thank him enough for his help. I highly recommend Chris to anyone who needs/wants to learn how to drive and wants that first time PASS!!!!

Chris is an amazing driving instructor. Very patient, supportive and calm in every situation. He will teach you everything you have to know to become a good and safe driver. Thanks to him I passed my driving test the first time. Highly recommend!

Chris Powell is an amazing instructor he cares about what you need and gives you as many lessons as needed no more, the reviews on here are clearly not true at least not in my experience.
He was very caring, always on time and tried to work around my work needs to fit me in even if it was inconvenient for him.
He always paid full attention to my driving and the road when taking me out on my lessons and gave me confidence i needed to get through my lessons, I would 100% recommended him to all my friends and family.

I had a really frustrating experience with this driving instructor, especially considering I already had my driving test booked.
In the lead-up to my test, I expected reliability and proper support, but instead lessons were inconsistent and communication was poor. This added unnecessary stress at a time when I needed structured guidance the most.
Rather than helping me feel prepared and confident, the instruction often felt disorganised and unhelpful. Feedback wasn’t always clear, and I didn’t feel like my progress or the urgency of my upcoming test was taken seriously.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this instructor—particularly if you’re working towards a test date and need someone dependable and focused on getting you ready.

Chris is the best driving instructor, I was super nervous about learning to drive but Chris made me feel welcome and supported during the lessons. He’s a kind and amazing teacher and is very patient and always supportive. I wouldn’t have passed my test if it wasn’t for Chris. I would recommend him to anyone as a driving instructor. If he can help me pass my test, he can help anyone.

Chris Powell is an amazing instructor he cares about what you need and gives you as many lessons as needed no more, the reviews on here are clearly not true at least not in my experience.
He was very caring, always on time and tried to work around my work needs to fit me in even if it was inconvenient for him.
