I'm not your typical driving student and it's been just over a year since I passed my test with the lovely Doreen. I've been learning to drive for over 13 years and had several instructors. I'm not ashamed to admit that I failed my test 4 times and had to sit my theory 3 times due to it expiring. I was a nervous wreck when it came to test day; I struggled greatly with remembering certain road rules and when it came to roundabouts I was almost impossible to teach. My anxiety was a major stumbling block and I was almost at the point of giving up. My then work colleague recommended Doreen to me, I didn't really pay much attention at the time until I saw her driving around Tesco whilst I was waiting for a bus and I thought (now that's a driving instructor who knows how to drive). I contacted Doreen who arranged my first lesson with me. I forewarned her of her impossible task. Doreen was the perfect balance of taking no messing, patience and confidence building. She also doesn't take advantage. I passed after around 3 months of lessons (once per week) and went on to do my pass plus which I achieved within the minimum time. I WOULD RECOMMEND DOREEN TO ANY WANT TO BE DRIVER. Read Less
