Worst instructor I've had. Turned up late to every lesson, took personal calls during lessons, kept offering me sweets whilst I was focusing on driving & kept shoving her phone in front of my face whilst I was driving asking me to read dirty jokes people sent her. I had over 40 hours of lessons with her & was nowhere near test ready. Took me years to feel confident after that. My next instructor (who has since retired) asked me to show him what Lorna had taught me & he said I would have learned that in 3 hours with him, not over 40. My friend also told me that she kept flirting with him when he was learning which made him so uncomfortable he hasn't attempted to learn since. Avoid. Only gave a star so it's let me leave a review. If I could leave zero I would. It has been a few years since I had lessons with Lorna. She was regularly late to the lessons and her car was always full of clutter. She took me down dark back roads and took several wrong turns to dead ends. I ended up doing a 3 point turn in my second lesson due to her nearly taking me onto a railway track. There was also another point where her wrong turn took me onto the A6 and she was more panicked about this than I was, she asked if I wanted to turn round (AT A JUNCTION) where I said no I was okay and it took her 10 minutes to let me get out of the junction even though there was plenty of opportunity. I never got out of 2nd gear in any of my 5 lessons. After 5 lessons I went with another instructor and they told me that she has a bad reputation. This driving instructor has just pulled out on us down broadway causing us to slam on our brakes missing by inches. She also failed to indicate and had a child with her in the car no older than 10 years of age. She then decided it was a good idea to keep braking in front of us in a way to cause intentional threat, as though it was our fault she can’t drive. We have this on dash cam and will be fighting to have her teaching license revoked as there are many other complaints from drivers and students. DO NOT GO WITH HER AS YOU’ll BE WASTING YOUR MONEY! WE HAVE PROOF OF HER REAL PASS RATE WHILE TEACHING IN MORECAMBE. YOU WILL NOT PASS WITH LORNA, LOOK AT HER REVIEWS AND THEN KEEP LOOKING FOR ANOTHER INSTRUCTOR. Read Less
