Excellent instructor, having tried for many years with various other instructors across Merseyside and Cheshire I have finally passed with Derek on the first attempt. He is assertive, competent and has great communication, i was put at ease from the very first lesson. Thanks again 👍🏼

Absolutely amazing instructor. I was so full of nerves when starting but Derek really got me feeling confident! So calm and understanding, made me feel completely safe and comfortable during my lesson...

Derek is a fantastic driving instructor, he is patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I used to get so nervous before lessons but Derek made me feel at ease straight away and I gained so much confidence on the road. Also passed my test first time thanks to him. I would 100% recommend Derek to anyone looking to learn!

I simply could not have had a better driving instructor than Derek - he is skilled, patient, supportive and ensures that you are well prepared for your test. Having passed first time I can confirm this all pays off! He’s also a really great man. If you’re lucky enough to be able to book lessons with Derek then you will be well on your way to new adventures and freedom!

Wonderful driving instructor, I now recommend Derek to everyone who is thinking about taking lessons or anyone who thinks they just can't drive because he's such a wonderful teacher and also a generally nice bloke . Every lesson I felt as if I had achieved something and looked forward to my next lesson. I too passed first time. if you don't want to waste your money and time, you need to book in with Derek Lawton
