I had 3 lessons at this driving school and even though the first 2 were amazing, by the third lesson, the radio was on, Phil was on his phone for parts of the lesson and when I made mistakes he was almost raising his voice. I prefer someone who is firm, but this is too harsh. He goes on about other people having bad habits but he has some himself as a driver as driving me back home from my third lesson, he went on his phone to check the weather. And I checked the DVLA website it is also illegal to be on your phone whilst the learner driver is driving. Also during this lesson someone was right behind me driving but he said I should have gone faster to avoid him. I have found out that tailgate are in the wrong. I was doing the correct speed and I was approaching a roundabout so couldn't go fast anyway. Also when he came to pick me up, he was reversing between two parked cars and hit the one behind him. Was driving with Matt bark and had spent over 15 lessons with him costing me a fortune as a young lad even going back to him after tearing the ligaments in my knee. Matt then told me to book my test and we had a couple more lessons. After booking my test Matt then completely ignored me and didn’t reply to any of my messages so I gave him a week or two in case he had something going on or a broken phone something like that but then I have seen him out and about driving multiple times since then. Since moving somewhere else I have now learnt that he was teaching me wrong and not a very good driving instructor tbh he was always on his phone , cutting lessons early and not giving me my full time , very angry and had a incredibly short fuse for a learner driver getting very angry at not only me but other drivers overall quite rude.
