Highly recommend David Young, patient and good value for money. You start off on quiet roads in a small loop for an hour until in no time your build your confidence to busier roads and lesson time extends to an hour and a half. He will teach you all the maneuvers for the test and even useful ones not on the test. David recommends useful sources for the theory test. He also knows when your ready for the practical test and points out anything that could fail you on the test, listen to him, make it better and this will make your chance of passing so much higher. Roughly it took me 30-40 hours practice time to which I passed first time. He's flexible with his schedule and always try to fit you to your convenience. At the time of writing David charges £25/h which is very reasonable but this is in cash so worth drawing out a load ready for each lesson.
