Steve is truly one of the best driving instructors in Norwich. He’s patient, kind, and incredibly good at understanding your strengths and weaknesses, tailoring each lesson to help you improve.
I genuinely looked forward to every lesson and always felt supported and confident. He explains everything clearly and makes even the most challenging parts feel manageable.
Thanks to Steve, I passed on my first attempt, I can’t recommend him enough. Thank you for everything!

Best thing I’ve ever done was finding and choosing gold star, I learnt more with them in 8 hours than I did in any other previous driving instructors. He’s very patient and encouraging and he won’t leave you nervous or stressed with what new things you’re learning, gives you great confidence behind the wheel and will answer any questions you have. He teaches you everything necessary to drive and more. The price and time spent with gold star is worth it. I will always recommend gold star to anyone.

I had a great experience learning to drive with Steve. He’s patient and made me feel confident behind the wheel. Steve always created a relaxed and supportive environment, even when I made mistakes, and he was great at breaking things down in a way that made them easy to understand. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a solid driving instructor!

Steve is a great instructor our daughter Welly absolutely loved her lessons with him, he's very calm and reassuring, knowledgeable and dependable everything you need in an excellent instructor. He gave Welly the confidence to flourish, and she paid her self and Steve back with Zero faults on her test. 100% recommend Steve and Goldstar Driving Academy.

I could not think of a better person that I would want to spend 2 hours in a car with! Steve is not only an amazing driving instructor, but a great life coach and has taught me many things (mainly ter...
I could not think of a better person that I would want to spend 2 hours in a car with! Steve is not only an amazing driving instructor, but a great life coach and has taught me many things (mainly terrible jokes!). Steve has encouraged me to do things I never thought I could achieve, and always knew the right thing to say when I was having an 'off-day'. Steve is supportive, patient, understanding, friendly and can even be funny too (sometimes!). I would like to thank Steve and Elaine from Goldstar Driving Academy for their support, and for exceeding all of my expectations! Truly lovely people, and an honor to have learnt to drive with them.
