I've never had a problem with The instructor at Keswick driving school, I previously had 10 lessons with him a few years back, but stopped due to work and travelling, and I've just recently contacted him to finish of my lessons and he was more than happy to fit me into his schedule and carry on with the lessons, He's an all around chap and talkative, but calming during the lessons. He can be a bit strict but in a good way, because driving a car can be dangerous and you can't sugar coat everything. I started my lessons in January 18 had a few lessons with my grandad who was a retired instructor so I knew the basics I was doing lessons with Keswick until November when he told me he was not continuing with my lessons as I was point bluntly asking him why my lessons was always being messed around so I hadn’t done anything wrong for him to be this rude to me so the 11 months of lessons with him I learned how to bay park and that was it! He had me driving around rushden the rest of the time he never taught me anything else and my confidence after all that time was still pretty low, he would never be able to book me in every week in fact it was more like 3 weeks later after a lesson and even then a fair few times he had cancelled them or put them in diary wrong and blamed me for having the wrong date in my booklet even though he had wrote it in himself, one time I payed him a little more and said keep it towards my next lesson which then he cancelled and then when it came to the next lesson told me I had already had the lesson that was part paid from before obviously I defended my side and told him I hadn’t and he made me feel disgusting like he was calling me a liar and I was trying to cheat him out of money, he was always cancelling on me with issues, also with my partner he was very similar and the day of his test he couldn’t make it and my partners friend had him cancel on him 2 days before his test! He told me I was rude for being so concerned about my lessons and in fact I found him to be the rude one! Brian is an absolutely fantastic instructor. He makes sure you are confident and calm when on the roads. He is relaxed and gives great guidance and support when driving. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking to drive! Read Less

Brian is THE best instructor, with having tests previously with another instructor.. I was hesitant to start up again after failing 3 times. Brian made me feel confident and he was very patient with me in starting driving again. With only 5 refresher lessons I felt more confident with Brian than I did with my previous instructor after having 30 lessons!!! Would highly recommend him to ALL of my friends and family for people starting driving and having refresher lessons. Have been doing my driving lessons with Brian of Keswick Driving for a short while now and today thanks to Brian's brilliant teaching skills firm but fair, clear and very supportive I've PASSED my driving test 1st time with only 2 minors!!! Absolutely over the moon as was Brian! He's a fab instructor very calm and patient and has a very simple and easy way of teaching pupils to drive!
