I would recommend Steve 100% to any learner looking to pass their test. He was supportive and very understanding of my nerves due to a lack of self confidence from a previous negative experience. Steve will be honest about your progress whilst being encouraging and always pushes you on. When I failed my first test I was upset and hard on myself but he helped me to carry on and pick myself back up. He was also very accommodating on my second test day when I requested 20 minutes before the test to take some time to calm down and sit quietly to get myself in the right frame of mind. Whatever I needed to do during lessons to help myself learn he was very accomodating with. Had a double emergency lesson for my son Finn at short notice due to a cancellation driving test. Called Cats eyes on Monday and got a lesson on Wednesday ready for the test on Thursday morning. The company were professional to deal with and Mike the instructor was wonderful with my son. Made some points that other instructors hadn’t picked up on. Steve is a truly amazing instructor, great sence of humor, he is kind, patient, explains everything well, and the best thing is he never gets irritated or towards you if you make a mistake he stays super calm, like other comments I really wish I had found him sooner. I was nervous when I first started with him due to a bad experience with my last instructor, but within the 1st lesson we had all the nervousness had gone, I really looked forward to the lessons. Steves teaching methods are absolutely fantastic, he makes everything simple and not complicated, plus if there was anything I was unsure of I would ask if we could keep doing it, to which he was more than happy to do. Very professional and friendly tuition. The instructor is very patient and tailors your learning to you personal learning pace. In my experience Steve is very flexible with lessons and is also very reasonable price wise in a competitive industry. The car is excellent to learn in and is quite forgiving with inexperienced drivers. I absolutely got the impression that Steve was really invested in the success of his students. Just to say Steve is the best driving instructor ever, am a coloured woman and sometime I struggle to get comfortable around others people. Steve was my third driven instructor due to that, when I first meet him, I held back and he noticed it straight away in a professional way and he tried to make me comfortable as much as he can. Before I meet him, I nearly gave up in learning how to drive because of my struggle. He encouraged me and made sure I follow my dream.
