After passing my test on the first attempt, I highly recommend learning to drive with Gavin.
If you want to learn from a fun and insightful teacher and become a competent and safe driver, Gavin is the instructor for you.
From the first lesson I felt comfortable with what I was asked to learn and felt assured that I had gained a full understanding of what I had learned before moving on to something new.
After learning with Gavin I know I am well informed, well practiced driver and I am confident that I can drive to test standard every time I get in a vehicle.

I have just passed today 1st time with Gav! It has been such fun learning to drive with Gav. He is relaxed, fun, proffesional and friendly. It’s like learning to drive with a friend. I couldn’t of asked for a better driving instructor! Highly recommend! It has been an incredible journey! Thanks Gav!

I cannot recommend Gavin enough! His teaching style is second to non and I can honestly say his patience, easy to understand explanations and humour, make learning to drive fun and relaxed. I personally lacked confidence when I started learning, but Gav helped me through my nerves and made me a far more confident and relaxed driver. Thanks to him, I passed my test first time with only 1 minor fault!!! I couldn't be more excited and proud of myself. And what was even nicer is that Gav was almost as thrilled as I was when I passed....almost!!! If you want to learn to drive and enjoy every second, Phoenix is the school for you!

I have thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with Gav. I'm 33 and so a bit of a late bloomer with regards to learning to drive. Gav has been patient but challenging with his approach. He has the experience and personality needed to be a great teacher, breaking each driving skill into easy to swallow pieces with a variety of humorous learning tools that help you to remember what's been taught. Each lessons refreshes what you learned last time and gives you something new to get your teeth into so you feel like progress is being made. His teaching style is very flexible, I certainly had good and bad days, but Gav adapted his style each time we met. His methods are very methodical and his pass rate shows that they're tried and tested. He's a very personable guy and I'm going to miss being taught by him as today I passed my test first time with 2 minor faults.

Gavin is a fantastic driving instructor, he is always happy and cheerful! He never rushed me to learn anything new, always in my own time. Gav will never let you down, always teaches with a smile on his face and makes learning to drive an exciting experience. Gavin has the exceptional ability to make driving as easy as walking. Gav is always very pleasant; it was certainly the right choice to go with Phoenix.
The benefits you get with Gav are second to none. Gav never lets you down has a sense of
humour and makes learning to drive an enjoyable experience.
You’re allowed 15 minor faults in your driving test. Thanks to Gavin I passed 1st time with only 2 minor faults. Thanks again Gavin.

Gavin is very friendly and easy to get along; because of this personality driving lessons are always relaxed. Gavin is also very patient and so you learn at your own pace. The combination of patience and friendly disposition also means that he is a very good confidence builder giving you the self belief that you need to drive making him a brilliant instructor. Thank you for instilling the confidence needed to get through and pass.
Definitely recommended.

After passing my test on the first attempt, I highly recommend learning to drive with Gavin.
If you want to learn from a fun and insightful teacher and become a competent and safe driver, Gavin is the instructor for you.
From the first lesson I felt comfortable with what I was asked to learn and felt assured that I had gained a full understanding of what I had learned before moving on to something new.
After learning with Gavin I know I am well informed, well practiced driver and I am confident that I can drive to test standard every time I get in a vehicle.

I cannot recommend Gavin enough! His teaching style is second to non and I can honestly say his patience, easy to understand explanations and humour, make learning to drive fun and relaxed.
