So, I passed first time, with only four faults having never driven before! This was all down to his consistency, patience, meticulous yet no pressure attitude to mistakes and friendly, relaxed manner. I had so much faith in his expertise, and he made sure I had a lot of confidence in my own abilities that when it came to test day I barely felt any nerves at all. He not only makes sure you have all of the new 2018 test skills down, but others that you'll need to become a safe road user once you start driving independently (which won't take long with AKG!) I had a lot of pressure to pass my test and researched a fair bit before settling on an instructor. Alvat had some solid reviews so I gave him a shot, totally prepared to switch if I didn't feel it was going to be right for me. Right off the bat though I knew I'd made the right choice. Alvat is consistent and doesn't miss a trick. Once you've got the basics down he'll let you decide where you feel you want to focus and has great local knowledge meaning that he can quickly find a route or area that will help you in that particular set of skills. This means you always feel you're getting good value for your money and of course your time.
