Here at Oxford Driving School we ensure that all our instructors are fully qualified, DSA registered and have considerable experience within the driver training industry. Our lessons are designed to suit the abilities of each student and all driving lessons are given on a strict one-to-one basis - just you and the driving instructor.

I passed my driving test on 30/03/2026 thanks to my instructor Umar. Before this, I had been told I wasn’t test ready and was even advised to postpone or consider medication for nerves, which really affected my confidence.
Umar assessed me properly and focused on what actually matters for the test. He was strict on my weaknesses and made me repeat manoeuvres until I was confident and consistent. His teaching was clear, structured, and very supportive.
Because of this, I felt genuinely prepared on the day and passed.
I highly recommend Oxford Driving School for your lessons!

I had a great experience learning to drive with Umar and Khalid. Umar helped me build a strong foundation for driving in Oxford and explained the basics very clearly, which helped me understand the fundamentals of safe driving. His guidance gave me a solid base to develop my skills.
Khalid then helped refine my driving and boost my confidence on the road before the test. He is very friendly, patient, professional and supportive. Khalid explains everything calmly and gave me many helpful tips on driving safely and confidently. He is also very good at helping people stay calm and manage their nerves.
Both instructors were supportive and encouraging throughout the process. Thanks to their guidance I was able to pass my driving test, and I’m very grateful for their help. I would highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive.

Just passed my test today! My instructor Magdalena has been an incredible teacher. I feel like she taught me how to drive, not just pass the test. She is always calm, supportive and explains everything so well. She really helped me build my confidence behind the wheel and made driving stress-free (after many stressful experiences with previous instructors). Her kindness, professionalism and reliability is refreshing, and she knew exactly when I was ready for my test. Would highly recommend!

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank my instructor , Umar Zia for helping me pass my driving test. Zia is clearly an experienced instructor;kind, very patient and tenacious in a very good way. He is always willing to do anything to help and enjoys nothing more than to see his students succeed not just in passing their test but becoming safe and confident drivers. To see many students pass their driving test is a credit to how good he is at his job. Can't thank you enough Zia. Been a long ride but finally got there. . A true gentleman and I wish you all the best for the future! Kindest regards from one very happy DRIVER!

Fantastic instructor Tewfik! I owe my first time pass not only to myself, but to him as well! He was reliable with lessons and timings and always reassured me when learning and immediately addressing any mistakes or queries I had. The prices for lessons are by far the cheapest in Oxford as well! Tewfik and Oxford Driving School thank you so much!

Thank you Oxford Driving School for making my dreams come true. Zia is an exceptionally good instructor. Unlike the instructors I had, Zia was different - he set a clear goal for me to achieve.
He revealed all the hidden secrets in order for me to successfully pass. His approach of teaching you something in which you struggled with was highly effective and he also did a great job in helping me in aspects of my driving in which I wasn't good at.
I owe it all to Zia, and the Oxford Driving School. Highly recommended.

I passed my driving test on 30/03/2026 thanks to my instructor Umar. Before this, I had been told I wasn’t test ready and was even advised to postpone or consider medication for nerves, which really affected my confidence.

Just passed my test today! My instructor Magdalena has been an incredible teacher. I feel like she taught me how to drive, not just pass the test. She is always calm, supportive and explains everything so well. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank my instructor , Umar Zia for helping me pass my driving test. Zia is clearly an experienced instructor;kind, very patient and tenacious in a very good way. He is always willing to do anything to help and enjoys nothing more than to see his students succeed not just in passing their test but becoming safe and confident drivers. Fantastic instructor Tewfik! I owe my first time pass not only to myself, but to him as well! He was reliable with lessons and timings and always reassured me when learning and immediately addressing any mistakes or queries I had.
