He was professional, reliable and friendly and he really boosted my confidence in driving and gave me the best knowledge and experience, which allowed me to pass my driving test.
I would 100% recommend 1st Step if you are looking for a reliable driving instructor for automatic cars.

Failed with my first instructor, had lessons with Tony for just a few weeks and passed first time with him! Brilliant instructor with so much experience, lovely man too which helps when you’re in a car for two hours, recommend him to anyone 100%!

I would recommend 1st Step to anyone looking for a reliable, personable and professional driving instructor. I felt supported and encouraged every step of the way. Tony makes you feel comfortable and calm throughout every lesson; as an entirely new driver this was essential for me. Furthermore, my awkward working hours were accommodated very well at every opportunity and my need for a quick turn around to obtain a full licence was met perfectly when I passed first time! Thank you so much.

At the age of 31 I returned to learning to drive with 1st step school of motoring. Tony was a great instructor patient with me but also quick to notify me of errors and explain why they were an issue....
At the age of 31 I returned to learning to drive with 1st step school of motoring. Tony was a great instructor patient with me but also quick to notify me of errors and explain why they were an issue. Tony greatly helped me gain confidence on the road and with his great tutelage I managed to pass my test first time.
