Well rounded driving instructor. Managed to put me at ease and calm my nerves from my first lesson. Breaks his instructions down and took me through it step by step. I’m dyslexic so driving never came natural and neither did the confidence for it.
In all honesty learning to drive was a necessity rather than something I wanted to do.
Andrew made it fun and less of a dreaded chore.
In time I gained my confidence and my licence thanks to Andrews skill and patience.
I understand now why he’s popular in the town and comes highly recommended by many.

Andy taught both my husband and myself to drive, hes a fab instructor very patient and a genuinely nice guy who will make you feel at ease from the start, most importantly he wants you to pass and unlike a lot of instructors wont make you pay for any more lessons than you need. Good prices and always reliable if your looking for a good driving instructor around the Hawick area i would highly recommend Andrew Johnston.

Well rounded driving instructor. Managed to put me at ease and calm my nerves from my first lesson. Breaks his instructions down and took me through it step by step. I’m dyslexic so driving never came natural and neither did the confidence for it.
