I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor. Ellis is patient, professional, and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. His calm approach helped me build confidence, especially with roundabouts, junctions, and lane positioning, which I found challenging at first.
He always gave honest and constructive feedback after every lesson, focusing on helping me improve rather than just pointing out mistakes. Thanks to his excellent teaching, I passed my first practical driving test with only 4 minors.
I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated instructor. Cheers mate for all your patience, encouragement, and guidance, I truly appreciate everything you’ve done. See you on the road!

Passed my test first time and I couldn’t have done it without Ellis!
He’s the most patient person and really supported me from when I was nervous in my first few lessons up until the day of my test. He’s given me so much confidence in myself and always reassured me that I could succeed.
I looked forward to every one of my lessons knowing that I could relax and have a laugh whilst also concentrating on growing my confidence and developing my driving skills.
I couldn’t recommend anyone better than him.

I had an excellent experience with Lloyds Driving School. I passed my driving test on the first attempt, and that’s entirely down to the quality of instruction I received.
My instructor (Ailsa) was patient, professional, and very knowledgeable. Every lesson was well-structured, and they made sure I fully understood not just how to drive, but how to drive safely and confidently in real test conditions. They were calm under pressure and gave clear, constructive feedback that helped me improve quickly.
What stood out most was their ability to build my confidence while still pushing me to correct mistakes and aim for a higher standard. By the time my test came around, I felt fully prepared.
I would highly recommend Lloyds Driving School to anyone looking to pass efficiently and become a confident driver.

Ellis was exactly the type of instructor I needed. He’s calm, friendly and easy to get along with, which made me feel comfortable and confident during lessons. He explained everything clearly and was always patient, even when I made mistakes.

I must say, learning with Jon Lloyd has been an absolute treat. The car is brilliant, the teacher is excellent, and the service exemplary. I have now passed my driving test, all due to Jon's expert teaching methods.
I would much rather support local businesses, as opposed to corporate entities, and, because of this, I was rewarded with a much more personal service, as opposed to a profit centric instructor who does not bother to teach at an appropriately adequate pace.
For anyone who needs lessons, I would wholeheartedly recommend Jon Lloyd!
