Edited to your response sue. I have not trolled you at all. When members of the public have asked for recommendations for local driving instructors
I have never said not cats eyes. I have always tagged I will drive and said check online reviews before booking. That is not trolling thats me recommending and company I have had a amazing experience with. I blocked your bussiness facebook page to not see your adverts. In July 2024 I was unable to leave a review but now I am able to. Sue was my automatic driving instructor. Around 7 weeks before my test I dropped Sue as my instructor. Our work together began in Jan 2024 and on the 14th June 2024 I made Sue aware I was not going to be making further bookings. I grew exhausted of Sue's mentality. It was like having two people in the passenger seat. One day everything was right and the next wrong and this impacted my confidence. I was in tears. Fortunately my husband made some enquiries with another local driving school. This new instructor listened to us both and was happy to get me to my test day which was the 17th june 2024. Sues feedback didnt match to what my new instructor was seeing at all. I was polished up with my skills and passed but I wouldnt of if I didnt leave sue. Sue you had a lot of money from me that I was happy to pay for a life long skill. I have no doubt if this gets a response from you denial will be in it and somewhere blame shifted on me. The only thing I really blame myself for was not stepping away sooner. Please dont treat customers like how I and other customers have had to experience.

Booked a 2-hour driving session for my son’s 16th birthday, and Ben took the session. He arrived in a lovely clean Puma and spent time going through all the safety aspects, as well as explaining how the pedals and gears worked.
Ben was extremely professional, patient, and focused throughout the session, which really helped put my son at ease. My son thoroughly enjoyed the experience and has already said he would like to continue lessons in the future. We will definitely be back in touch with Cats Eyes for driving lessons and will absolutely be requesting Ben Miller again.
An absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable guy — highly recommend!

From Catrin’s first lesson to her last lesson was a truly amazing experience. She has learned so much, and has not stopped asking questions regarding driving. Catrin is having a break from the lessons for 2 weeks, then wants to start again.
Mike Vowles the instructor was outstanding from the beginning. He was always in communication with me regarding the lessons and feedback. I can’t thank him enough.

We booked the Young Driver experience at Cat’s Eyes for our son’s 14th birthday and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
The instructor was brilliant — calm, friendly and incredibly encouraging. They explained everything clearly and made my son feel confident behind the wheel straight away. It was wonderful to see how quickly he picked things up with such great guidance.
My son absolutely loved every minute of it and couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. For a 14th birthday present it was perfect — exciting, memorable and something a bit different. He’s already asking when he can go back!
A huge thank you to the team at Cat’s Eyes and to the fantastic instructor for making the experience so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a special treat for their teenager.

Worst experience of my life:
I booked a few lessons as I have not driven for a few years,
The instructor was really rude and agressive in every lesson I endured - no constructive criticism was given just sighs and rude remarks. After several lessons I could tell my driving was deteriorating and completely lost my confidence - cut my losses and went elsewhere.

He is a true gentleman, highly professional, honest and very good at delivering feed back.
He had great methods and helped me understand situations I had previously found difficult.
I was lacking in confidence and suffer with anxiety.
Mike was always understanding and reassuring and always finding a positive in my negatives.

Elvis is a Great Teacher, reliant helpful, and always giving good advice when driving, so I get better and keep good habits, my lessons with Elvis are relax and good ambience for learning, he reassures me when needed.and lets me know hen i am doing wrong so I can corrected. My wife had 8 of her 10 lessons before taking, and failing her test.
She told the instructor that she wanted a breather before resuming lessons.
Now, later, my wife has tried to contact the instructor...
My wife had 8 of her 10 lessons before taking, and failing her test.
She told the instructor that she wanted a breather before resuming lessons.
Now, later, my wife has tried to contact the instructor to complete the final two lessons which she is owed, but all types of communication have been ignored, even though we know that they have been received.
Furthermore, because my wife works shifts, the instructor told us that she was "very" flexible. This turned out not to be the case, and would only offer lessons at 0800 on a Thursday morning, which is why we have two outstanding lessons.
We would like a refund for the cost of two lessons, as you have not fulfilled your obligations.

Ben was extremely professional, patient, and focused throughout the session, which really helped put my son at ease. We booked the Young Driver experience at Cat’s Eyes for our son’s 14th birthday and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
The instructor was brilliant — calm, friendly and incredibly encouraging. They explained everything clearly and made my son feel confident behind the wheel straight away. It was wonderful to see how quickly he picked things up with such great guidance.
