I couldn't recommend Tommy enough as a driving instructor. From day one, he made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel, with plenty of patience and a great sense of humour. Lessons were always relaxed, enjoyable, and full of laughs, which made learning to drive so much easier. Tommy explains everything clearly and genuinely wants his pupils to succeed and even though on test day he was under the weather and he still made it to take me it just shows what kind of man tommy is. One thing you'll quickly learn is that Tommy is brilliant at teaching driving… but maybe not so brilliant at finishing DIY jobs! I don't think his bathroom will ever actually be completed only joking big man All jokes aside, he's an excellent instructor and helped me pass while making the whole experience enjoyable. I had always been so nervous about driving and always postponed looking for lessons to start. When I looked online to look for instructors who did automatic I found Tommy and read the reviews. The reviews were absolutely amazing and stated that he was great with nervous and anxious drivers. This gave me the courage to message Tommy and begin my lessons with him. I did lessons from Feb 2025 to May 2026, where I passed first time with only 1 minor. Tommy was an excellent instructor. He was always so encouraging, calm, helpful and supportive throughout the duration of my lessons. He always laughed with me and made me feel at ease. Driving no longer felt daunting, it felt easy with his help. He was always so patient with me and taught me how to be safe on the road. Tommy went above and beyond for me, scheduling in extra lessons, gave me lots of helpful resources and working on his days off to support me especially when my test was close. Tommy was my driving instructor for eight months, and he was extremely helpful in progressing my driving skills. I passed with no minors and no majors on a test route I had never done before, reflecting his ability to help a pupil understand and make sense of the car. He was always able to answer my questions and was very understanding generally; I would recommend him to any new pupil. His style of taking things slow, combined with his very adept catchphrases, made very difficult parts of driving feel far easier.
