My wife had some lessons with this company before her instructor moved abroad - all of this was fine. Once her instructor left, we dealt with a gentleman (sorry, cannot remember his name) and he said he'd liaise with us over the departing instructors replacement. Despite chasing, this never transpired. Against my better judgement (some time has now passed), I contacted the same company with the phone number provided on the website. This was for my wife again. The guy on the phone didn't have time for me and said he would call back and he took my name and details. Once again- NOTHING. We have now sourced a new instructor which we are very happy with. I would not recommend Baxter driving school as they clearly lack basic manners and professionalism. Read Less

I wouldn't advise lessons with this driving school , I had a really bad experience which effected my confidence. instructor (David Gordon ) was very impatient and rude.despite taking 15 lessons (mainly all in an industrial state) I learned very little. I take my lessons elsewhere now and what a difference. Despite only taking 10 lessons, I am now ready to take my test. Baxter driving school is con, save your money and avoid. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION !! YOU MAY FIND HE IS GOOD FOR YOURSELF EACH TO THEIR OWN I have been with a 3 driving teachers and this guy I feel is just out for £$£$£ he gives you 3 lessons for £40 which is a enticement to get you to try him as these days 1 lesson is about £25 average every where , but on the 3rd lesson of the trial he turns up L8 and drops you early you are lucky to get 30 mins of a hour lesson , He says he will make it up but doesnt I asked other pupils who took him up on this offer AND HE DID THE SAME THING TO THEM ALL SHORT LESSON , The car used is over 15 year old and on his website it shows fotos of modern vehicles , vauxhall corsa, renault clios etc but its a early 1990s Nissan micra , He is not the most patient of teachers , and can be raty and agitated like i was learning 3 POINT TURN , He explained it once but I messed up on the second attempt and he just kept going on his Tires were being ruined i only got shown once and was ding it myself for first time and he got RAGED UP , at the end of my so called lesson he asked me about booking up more lessons and would I pay him , I made exuses and said I would call him , That AINT GOING TO HAPPEN , I already booked with another school after my 2nd lesson anyway as I just did not like or feel comfy with him AND ONLY TOOK THE 3RD LESSON as it was paid for , If you want to try mr baxter then do so , I didnt take to him and didnt feel like he was good but each to there own I wish all learner drivers well and hope you passs testsRead Less
