The moment the deposit is paid, you are looked after well and true. I only needed 15 hours intensive due to my experience but during my course my instructor Chris realised I didn’t need as many and was dropped down to 10 hours, with my remaining hours getting refunded. I passed successfully today and I wouldn’t have done it without Chris and the amazing team at Mr Driving School. When my partner comes to pass, I will be booking with these. After becoming disillusioned with driving and dodgy instructors previously, I decided to start learning again, I found MR Driving School online and emailed a few questions with my situation and schedule, I received friendly replies and decided to proceed. Initially, I booked the 10 lesson intensive course, met Matt and we went over manoeuvres and familiarised me with the car, he made me feel comfortable and that I could relearn at my own pace. You can see his passion in wanting to produce safe drivers and he uses his vast experience to build you up at a pace you feel comfortable with. He recommended an additional 10 lessons which were definitely valuable, it would have been a bad move to leave it there, but after that he knew I was ready. I narrowly failed my first test, but since Matt came with me he was able to identify how we could improve for next time and we worked on it over 5 more lessons, he got me a fast second test and I passed with 2 minors. Matt was far better than I would have expected from an instructor based on my past experience and as a result of his tuition I know that I will be a safe and confident driver going forward. If you learn with him you can guarantee that you will be fully assured of yourself due to his meticulous teaching style. You will strengthen your weak points with care and refine your strengths. I can't praise Matt highly enough, on top of being a fantastic instructor, he's a really good guy and wants the best for you and though I'm elated to have passed my test, I'm sad that I won't have him by my side going forward. Well, where do I start?... with a bottle of prosecco, because I’ve just passed my test after driving for 3 days with Mr Driving School. Before having lessons with Matt, I felt like I had no chance of securing my licence today. To say that my confidence was shattered is a huge understatement, but Matt soon changed that. Matt’s patience and calmness enabled me to build confidence and in doing so, I was able to fine tune my driving technique and knowledge. Matt has something that I have not found in any other instructor (and I’ve had quite a few over the years), empathy! He understands, that driving is nerve wracking for an inexperienced driver. I passed my driving test 1st time. I booked a 40 hour course and passed after 37 hours. I've had 4 different instructors over the years, but Martyn is by far the best. I had no convidence in the car and used to dread my driving lessons. But from the 1st lesson with Martyn I felt at ease, he never raised his voice once. DO NOT USE!! UNRELIABLE AND DISGUSTING SERVICE... Booked a 25-50 hour intensive driving course with Matt over 3 weeks ago, was told i would receive 4 hour lessons for 5 days and use the balance until my test. called day before to arrange my first lesson and was asked to rearrange my lesson even though it was booked weeks in advance.... explained i had taken a week off work specially to do this and that i was on a time scale. in my work contract i had been given a certain amount of time to complete a course and have a practical test booked or i could lose my job. the morning of my first lesson i receive a pitiful text telling me he wanted to cancel. didn't even have the decency to call me! now i am at risk of losing my job and having to try and arrange another intensive course elsewhere..... please save your money and do not use this instructor!!! I recently returned from University for good and decided it was time for me to start driving lessons again, after having failed previously when I was younger. I had a lot of suggestions for driving instructors from friends and colleagues, but decided to trust in the collective online reviews of MR Driving School and I was certainly wasn't disappointed. Matt offered a free consultation before undertaking lessons; this was a great way to start things off, and allowed us to discuss how we wanted to progress. Matt turned out to be a fantastic instructor, and was very thorough in his explanation of the techniques that allow you to pass the driving test. He has a calm demeanour, and a passion for not only ensuring you can pass your test, but also that you leave the experience as a safe user of the road. When I was younger and failed tests with another instructor it wasn't down to not being able to drive the car, it was down to not being competent enough with all the techniques required (which there are a lot!) to be confident enough to drive calmly on my test.
