I can’t recommend Helen at Go For It Driving enough! Thanks to her guidance and support, I passed my driving test first time!!
From my very first lesson, Helen made me feel completely at ease. She has such a friendly and approachable personality that the lessons felt natural and enjoyable rather than intimidating. She never felt like a strict teacher, but she always remained professional and knew exactly when to give guidance or encouragement to better myself.
She was incredibly patient and explained everything clearly, especially manoeuvres, talking me through each step until I felt confident doing them on my own. Whenever I was nervous or doubting myself, she stayed calm, reassured me, and helped me build my confidence.
I’m so grateful for all of her support and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. If you’re looking for someone who is patient and genuinely wants you to succeed, I’d highly recommend Helen. Thank you so much!

I had Shaun Cooke as an instructor, he was incredibly helpful in building up my confidence as well as providing me with advice to reduce my nerves when driving. Having just finished my test I am proud to say he has helped me achieve a pass with zero faults or advisories. Highly recommend.

Passed my test today in Barnsley with only 2 minors. Helen is such a wonderful instructor. She is extremely patient and knowledgeable and teaches you in a way that isn’t condescending or confusing. She always puts me at ease and I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you so much, Helen!

Highly recommend - Jack is an amazing instructor. As someone who was very nervous to start, Jack made me feel comfortable every step of the way. He always welcomed any questions, no matter how ‘silly’ I thought they were, and was patient throughout. I had a fantastic time learning with Jack, had a lot of laughs and he always supported me from my first time sitting in the drivers seat to passing my test. Go For It will always be my go to recommendation for driving instructors!

Rob is a brilliant instructor! I was nervous about starting driving but the lessons were planned out at a pace i found very comfortable.
Rob was sympathetic and accommodating to my needs, especially since I had a time limit and made sure we did everything possible to ensure I would pass my test (so i could do it in Sheffield and not in my home town when I moved home from Uni).
I passed my test first time with only four minors - which should be a testament to Rob in itself!
I am very grateful to Rob and Go For It Driving School for making my lessons a really enjoyable experience.

Highly recommend - Jack is an amazing instructor. As someone who was very nervous to start, Jack made me feel comfortable every step of the way. He always welcomed any questions, no matter how ‘silly’ I thought they were, and was patient throughout. Rob is a brilliant instructor! I was nervous about starting driving but the lessons were planned out at a pace i found very comfortable.
Rob was sympathetic and accommodating to my needs, especially since I had a time limit and made sure we did everything possible to ensure I would pass my test (so i could do it in Sheffield and not in my home town when I moved home from Uni).
I passed my test first time with only four minors - which should be a testament to Rob in itself!
I am very grateful to Rob and Go For It Driving School for making my lessons a really enjoyable experience.
