I would definitely recommend Colin as a driving instructor, he is very calm and patient when teaching and creates a good environment for a learner. I started lessons with him after taking a break from learning and he definitely brought my confidence back and got me test ready, passed the first test I sat with him. :)

Colin is a 10/10 driving instructor. His calm and patient approach put me at ease and he gives constructive feedback, always making sure to highlight the positives. I was as prepared for the test as possible and knew about all the local road layout quirks, leaving no surprises. I would recommend Emerald Mile without hesitation.

Only have good words to say about Colin and Emerald Mile Driving School. Colin was an excellent instructor for me. V clear, patient and knowledgeable of the local Stirling area. He will go over any part of your driving that you are struggling with until it’s fixed for you, providing useful solutions. Felt v well prepared for my test thanks to Colin covering every aspect of being a safe and competent driver in great detail. No junctions, roundabouts or roads were a surprise to me thanks to Colin’s knowledge of past and potential test routes.
Also aside from the driving, Colin is a top guy v friendly and always has a good bit of chat when you come into the car. Makes you feel very at ease and relaxed in the car from day 1 which is really important too.

Colin has been a great driving instructor. Lessons well structured, with great local knowledge of all the tricky and unique spots on the Stirling roads. Great communication with loads of advice on how not just to pass the test, but become a safe and skilled driver.

Would give more than five stars to Emerald Mile Driving school if I could. Passed my test the first time! Colin was an excellent instructor, very calm and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Gave me the skills to not just pass the test, but to be a safe and confident driver on the road. Highly recommend for drivers of all skill levels. Agree with another reviewer - he also has great taste in music.

Great instructor, very patient and was good at focusing on what I needed to work on. Colin gave me helpful tips and advice to increase both my driving skills and confidence, which continued to improve over every lesson. It did take me four times to pass but I passed with no minors so it all paid off in the end.

I passed first time with Colin, very patient and conscientious instruction and flexible with lesson times. Really nice guy that you can chat to during lessons. Would definitely recommend.

I was provided with excellent instruction throughout the process. Very patient when things went wrong, or I was struggling with anything. Excellent tips and helpful advice for after i passed my test. The hourly rates were extremely good for the quality of service. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Stirling area!!

Friendly instructor with a flexible learning approach! Coming from the US I had held my license for 10+years but needed a UK license. Colin was very helpful and able to pin point the things I needed to work on and those I did not. Really great experience and very much would recommend to anyone looking for lessons. Competitive prices without having to deal with the big companies 'Emerald Mile' all the way!

I would definitely recommend Colin as a driving instructor, he is very calm and patient when teaching and creates a good environment for a learner. I started lessons with him after taking a break from learning and he definitely brought my confidence back and got me test ready, passed the first test I sat with him. :)

Colin is a 10/10 driving instructor. His calm and patient approach put me at ease and he gives constructive feedback, always making sure to highlight the positives. I was as prepared for the test as possible and knew about all the local road layout quirks, leaving no surprises. I would recommend Emerald Mile without hesitation.

Only have good words to say about Colin and Emerald Mile Driving School. Colin was an excellent instructor for me. V clear, patient and knowledgeable of the local Stirling area. Great instructor, very patient and was good at focusing on what I needed to work on. Colin gave me helpful tips and advice to increase both my driving skills and confidence, which continued to improve over every lesson. It did take me four times to pass but I passed with no minors so it all paid off in the end.

Friendly instructor with a flexible learning approach! Coming from the US I had held my license for 10+years but needed a UK license. Colin was very helpful and able to pin point the things I needed to work on and those I did not. Really great experience and very much would recommend to anyone looking for lessons.
