Maria at CCS is the best driving instructor I could ever have hoped for! I knew the biggest barrier to my progress would be my confidence. I am easily discouraged when I make mistakes but Maria is calm and confident presence to have beside you. Every time I made a mistake, she'd simple say, "That's okay!" and she'd ask what I thought did wrong and explain how to fix it. If ever I didn't understand, she'd figure out exactly what it was that was tripping me and help me reframe my understanding until it clicked. One of the best things about my tuition is that Maria and I always planned the lesson together. She'd give ideas about what to tackle next and let me choose! I always felt safe because she is very knowledgable. We'd be driving around and I would ask all sorts of questions about how the car and the roads worked and she always had an good answer that was easy for me to understand. If you are nervous about learning to drive or have had bad experiences with another instructor, CCS is the driving school for you! I've recommended Maria to all my family and friends! Would thoroughly recommend CCS driving school. My son had Chris as his instructor who he felt very comfortable with and he was very patient and understanding. He started with hourly lessons increasing to an hour and a half nearer to his test. The price of the lessons we thought were very reasonable compared to some others. We had great communication with Chris and he never let us down. After having a test cancelled due to Covid restrictions he did his best to fit my son in with a lesson on his day off before his rebooked test and he passed first time. I had the pleasure of being instructed by Chris. And I absolutely enjoyed my time learning with him. I’d previously had lessons with other instructors and I can say, without a doubt, that I learnt the most from Chris. He is the first driving instructor I have had who has allowed me to self-reflect at the end of my sessions. As well as keep paperwork, which serves as an amazing tool to actually see how far the student has progressed.
