Passed my test with MNM Automatic Driving School FIRST TIME - ZERO FAULTS, and honestly, AMAR deserves all the credit for getting me there in one piece (calmly)! 🚗💨
From lesson one, his calm demeanor just rubbed off on me — no matter how many times I panicked over a roundabout, he stayed cool, collected, and somehow always knew exactly what to say to talk me down. Crazy good instincts too; he'd catch my small mistakes before they turned into big ones, which honestly is the whole game when you're learning to drive.
On test day, my nerves were through the roof, and Amar still managed to get me calm, focused, and ready to go. That kind of support doesn't just teach you to pass a test; it teaches you actually to drive well and safely.
Always on time, always patient, always gave the right guidance at the right moment—a genuinely lovely person on top of being an amazing instructor, which honestly is a rare combo.
If you're after someone who's professional but never makes you feel stupid for messing up, who explains things properly and keeps you sane through the whole process — Amar is your guy. 200% recommend, no notes. 🎉

I recently passed my practical driving test at Shirley test centre with MNM Automatic Driving School and my heartfelt gratitude goes to my driving instructor, Amar, for all his support and guidance.
I’m glad I chose Amar to be my instructor as he was very thorough and detailed in his training. He made me very road aware and conscious. He encouraged me to avoid minor errors as this would potentially increase my chances of passing.
On the day of the test, he took me through the motorway when I told him I was tensed and this really helped build my confidence on the road when I began the test.
Amar is a 10/10 driving instructor and an invaluable asset to MNM. Amar sacrificed his time and went out of his way to ensure that I was prepared for the test.
It’s been a delight learning with you, Amar. I would recommend you without batting an eye.

I had a really positive experience with MNM driving school. My instructor, Amar, was patient, calm, and very knowledgeable. What I appreciated the most was how he adapted his teaching to my learning style, which made a big difference in building up my confidence and progress. Amar was also really helpful in supporting me to overcome my nerves while driving. In my opinion, a great instructor also listens what you have to say, addresses your needs and struggles, and that’s exactly what makes Amar stand out. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Zahir Rashid (DVSA registered ADI & Optician) highly enough! Thanks to his incredible coaching, I passed my driving test on my first attempt with only 1 minor at the Shirley test centre—and to make it even more perfect, it was on my birthday! Getting my licence was so incredibly important to me, and Zahir made the day absolutely perfect.
When I first started, I was quite edgy and uncertain behind the wheel. Zahir completely turned that around. He drilled confidence into me through his pupil-centred learning approach, always working with my specific needs. His coaching style is the perfect balance of being fun yet entirely professional. He is exceptionally patient and never once got annoyed or frustrated with me, which helped calm my nerves instantly, it really build up my confidence on the road!
Zahir’s communication is excellent. His use of scenario-based learning was highly effective, ensuring I wasn't just test-ready, but genuinely taught to keep safe on the roads. Because of his guidance, I now feel entirely safe and capable driving alone.
He is incredibly reliable and accommodating. We built a great foundation of teamwork, determination, and trust. if there was ever a time I was 10 or 15 minutes late due to traffic, he always made sure to reserve and add that time to my lesson. That level of honesty and trust is rare.
Zahir always believed I would pass, delivering absolute excellence from my first lesson to my test day. If you want an instructor who truly cares and transforms your driving, Zahir is the one. Thank you so much for everything!

I recently passed my practical driving test with MNM Automatic Driving School, and I’m really grateful to my instructor Amar for all the support and guidance. 🚗
Amar was patient, professional, and explained everything clearly, which really helped build my confidence on the road. He always stayed calm and encouraging during lessons, even when I made mistakes, and made sure I fully understood how to improve.
10/10 instructor – Amar is truly an asset to MNM. I really enjoyed my lessons with him and always felt comfortable and supported while learning.
Amar came highly recommended as my friend also passed through him, and now I can see why. Having had previous instructors who were not very knowledgeable in risk management, Amar really stood out as the best instructor in Birmingham.
It’s been a pleasure learning with you, Amar. Thank you again for helping me pass! 🎉

Taking the leap and deciding to learn to drive was a very hard task for me. I found it very daunting to even imagine myself sat behind the wheel of a car but Faisal and MNM Driving School made this want of mine a reality.
One of my biggest concerns for beginning lessons was being distracted by having to change gears in a manual vehicle, this is why I choose to learn in an automatic. This came with the issue of finding an automatic specific driving instructor, but after being recommended Faisal I am pleasantly surprised with how good the service has been. After the first lesson, I was provided with all the services I would need to pass the theory test, videos to help with my practical driving skills and information on insuring my vehicle all free of charge.
Faisal is a very calm and collected individual who shows an impeccable amount of interest and knowledge in driving; this makes him a very exceptional teacher whose skills really benefit anxious drivers, under his tutorage, I feel anyone could progress to the level of being able to pass their test. He has helped me not only to learn how to drive and the laws of the road but to be able to analyse my driving and understand my own mistakes and how to fix them. I would highly recommend Faisal and MNM Driving School to any individual but especially those who are nervous in taking their first step into the world of driving.
