AWFUL INSTRUCTOR! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I had two lessons with Kam and having told people of my experiences with him they urged me to change instructors immediately. He’s late, rude and cuts your time short! On my first lesson (never ever driven a car before) he let me drive on the main road, major roundabouts around Coventry, a duel carriageway and the Warwick Bypass. He didn’t talk to me during the lesson, about tips or what to watch out for, nothing... just gave me instructions such as “left, right, straight on etc...” On my second lesson, I went on the Coventry Ring Road, A444 and the motorway! Again, not having a clue what to do, he didn’t help me or talk to me, nothing. During both lessons, Kam would listen to the Radio (so loud that I couldn’t hear his instruction), answer the phone to customers, would write on his paper work on his lap (not looking out for me and other road users), would speak in such a way that I felt under pressure constantly. I even caught him napping during a lesson, when I was approaching the Blue Ribbon roundabout on my second lesson. Awful experience and I don’t want anyone else to go through anything like I did (but they probably will unfortunately) However, I have had my third lesson with Yonis from Acclaim Driving School who is absolutely brilliant!! So calm, talks me through everything and puts a lot of confidence in me. Also doesn’t shout when you make a mistake. For two hours, there’s only a £4 increase in price from Kam to Yonis! I never leave bad reviews but I want to do this to help others. This instructor was rude, always shouting really loud. Got aggressive over nothing. Literally shouting so loud people on the street would be looking. Sometimes I felt like walking out the car because he was Just shouting. He would show up 30 mins late and cut the lesson short, he wouldn’t teach me anything. Was always on his phone, reading the newspaper, listening to music. He hates his students, just wants money. It’s better you find a good kind instructor who doesn’t scare you away from driving. It’s better to pay a few extra pound because honestly he was the worst instructor I had. Read Less

Tried to start driving lessons, 3 times I requested a call back from this company as when I call them, I get no reply. I've been completely ignored. So glad I went with a different instructor as the reviews show I'd have been wasting my money anyway. Read Less

To a great degree vain educators. When I have enrolled to ace driving you can't foresee that me will know how to drive. The instructor censured and goaded at my freshness at driving. This kind of perspective was not foreseen!! Read Less

Horrendous instructor Kam! Wasted £400 on 20 lessons and didn’t learn much, now I’m with another school and feel like I’m having to learn from scratch. He was on his phone all the time. Never told me when I did something good but always criticised me. He talked inappropriately about female clients and what he would like with them. Am disgusted!!! Read Less

When I drive my kids to school every day and then go to office, I realize how empowering is driving your own vehicle. I didn’t felt this joy and being this confident before driving my own car. Very bad instructor kam. nobody have to go this school first he say I will be available on test day but at last time he say I am very busy I cant come on test day. all classes he tell nothing and always say you are not ready.he has not any sense about driving himself and how he become a instructor.very bad school. Now, at first I was not going to complain about this "company" (it's one guy, not a "team"), but after having my first lesson with a qualified instructor, I HAVE to warn others about this driving school. At first, I noticed the instructor was quite blunt, but I brushed this off as I wanted to give him a chance as this may be his method. Keeping in mind I was fairly new to driving, I was threw into the deep end and on the road immediately. My instructor was rude, uninformati...ve and frankly mean. If I were to do something wrong, whether it's the wrong lane or gear, he would make me jump by snapping at me. If I wasn't being snapped at, he'd mumble under his breath so I couldn't hear, and then shout it if I asked him to speak up. I also noticed snickering every now and then, but never asked if this was intentional or just some sound he makes. On one lesson, he had me drive around a block multiple times. He then got out his phone, and was speaking to an estate agent about a house on the street I was driving around!! I've also had him reading the frigging newspaper while I'm driving, then shout at me and yank the steering wheel if I'm in the wrong lane, yet he was the one paying no attention to what I was doing. Despite all this, I stuck through my bulk lessons and had a total of 12 hours. I then told him I didn't want any further lessons and would be getting a crash course, as I told him MULTIPLE times I wanted 2 lessons a week, to which he agreed to and NEVER let me take more than 1 a week (sometimes every 2 weeks, and I had no say) I today had my first lesson on my crash course, and have found out my prev instructor missed out vital, basic lessons which should have been taught in lesson 1. He has also taught me how to do my manoeuvres completely wrong, and never taught me the dangers of coasting and how to not do it. I'm frankly surprised I hadn't crashed under his supervision. I also find it hilarious that 3 of his reviews are fake Facebook accounts, who all posted on the same day. I was not going to take any action on this as I wanted to forget about it, but after a discussion with my current instructor I am now going to complain to the DSA, as I believe no one should have to learn how to drive from someone who gives less of a rats ass whether he's doing it correctly or not. I found this driving school very interesting for they are different than the rest of the others. Their style of teaching the students is very innovative and that is why I decided to send my son here to get driving lessons from the right place. He took the course and after completing it he really surprises me sometimes when he drives the car and I observe him from the backseat. I would recommend them to any parents looking for quality driving schools for their children because they are perfect for learning to drive. Read Less
