Although I had previously taken driving lessons with other instructors for a considerable period, the progress I made with you in a short time was remarkable. Your teaching methods were clear, practical, and easy to understand, enabling me to develop both confidence and competence behind the wheel.
You taught me not only how to pass the driving test but, more importantly, how to become a safe, responsible, and confident driver. Your guidance on observation, planning ahead, hazard awareness, manoeuvres, speed control, mirror checks, positioning, and decision-making transformed my approach to driving. The practical techniques and driving tips you shared have stayed with me and played a significant role in helping me pass my driving test at the Bradford Thornbury Test Centre.

I actually gave up driving for a bit bc my first 2 instructors was so bad and always cancelling on me. It stressed me out sm and made me think all instructors was like that. Someone mentioned Riz to me and honestly best decision ever. He has the patience of a saint no kidding is so calm and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. He helped me loads with roundabouts and just having confidence in general. Lessons with him was consistent and he proper helped me build confidence. Passed first time with zero faults!! If ur nervous or had a bad instructor before, 100% go with Riz, he actually cares and teaches you properly. Thank you so much again Riz, will be booking motorway lessons with you soon

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Riz
I came in with some driving experience from abroad, but my understanding of UK driving was basically zero. Things like roundabouts, positioning, and reading the road properly just weren’t there. Riz didn’t just tweak a few mistakes, he completely rebuilt my driving from the ground up and helped me understand how everything fits together.
What stood out straight away was how structured and focused his teaching is. He quickly assessed my level, stripped out the bad habits, and then broke everything down step by step. Roundabouts, junctions, decision-making, awareness, everything was explained clearly and properly, not just what to do but why it matters.
He also went out of his way to fit me in at a time he doesn’t usually work, which says a lot about his commitment.
In just 7 days, with only 5 lessons (10 hours total), he got me fully test-ready. No wasted time, no dragging lessons out, just straight, effective teaching. I passed first time with only 1 minor fault.
Riz is calm, professional, and knows exactly how to get results. Couldn’t recommend him enough! 10/10

Absolutely amazing experience from 5th Gear. I was let down by my usual driving instructor 5 hours before my practical test and so I called round and round instructors. I got through to 5th gear who helped me out, provided me with a instructor and car for the test as well as a 2 hour lesson before. Mohammed was excellent, we'd only just met and he picked up straight away my strengths and weaknesses. Needless to say I passed with flying colours. Thanks very much!

To be honest I did pass first time however I thank myself for having previous driving experience. I booked 18 hours worth of lessons and only received around 13. I was late to my test. He was late every morning for my lessons then spent half of my lessons wanting to look at cars and eating McDonald's ect. Not professional at all

Fantastic driving experience; so patient while driving and explains everything in a calm and simple manner; very flexible in terms of times and starting and finishing in different places. Passed first time with three minors due to my driving lessons with Mohammad and couldn't be happier, would highly recommend to anyone with any amount of driving experience or none at all. To be honest I did pass first time however I thank myself for having previous driving experience. I booked 18 hours worth of lessons and only received around 13. I was late to my test.
