I passed my driving test on my first attempt today with Neil, and I honestly can’t thank him enough. I would 100% recommend him to anyone learning to drive, as he is extremely patient and creates a calm, comfortable atmosphere, even in situations that may feel unfamiliar. He is always punctual, reliable, and puts in consistent effort to provide helpful tips and guidance to improve your driving. During lessons, there’s never a dull moment—no need for the radio, as Neil’s cheerful singing keeps the mood light and “enjoyable”. Neil not only prepares you for your driving test he makes you a safe driver for life. When I first started lessons I was nervous and shaky but Neil made me feel relaxed and I quickly gained confidence. Neil taught my sister how to drive, and then me. She passed her test first time, as did I, with only 1 minor! I would 10/10 reccommend Neil, he's an excellent instructor, and he knows how to make even the most nervous of drivers confident. He sings like an angel, and has a great sense of humour. Also, he tells stories all the time and essentially tries to make you as comfortable as can be. So glad we chose Neil, we couldn't have chosen a better instructor. He is a great instructor, firm but fair to help you pass as soon as you can- he’s a great guy and really helpful with every aspect of getting your test underway, he may be a little more expensive than others but it’s defiantly worth it and saves you money in the end because you pass quicker. I'd had hours and hours of lessons before I started with Neil, however for all the time and money I'd spent with another instructor I hadn't even done a turn in the road! My second lesson with Neil we were doing maneuvers - Neil is a very genuine instructor, every lesson I learnt something new and within 2 lessons we booked the test to set a goal to work towards. Neil is an extremely caring and knowledgeable instructor, I always felt that I could ask all the questions I needed to no matter how stupid they were and if there was something I couldn't wrap my head around we went over it until I understood. From his terrible jokes to his even more terrible singing, Neil had the ability to lighten the mood and calm me down no matter what situation I faced. I've passed my driving lesson first time today, although I found it nerve wrecking and made mistakes, it went a lot smoother than I imagined - all thanks to Neil. It's been a couple of weeks now since passing my driving test first time after learning with Neil. Neil is the perfect driving instructor. He knows when to push you to your maximum capabilities, and when to slow down back to the basic fundamentals of driving. From the very first lesson, Neil's personality (witty humour, falsetto singing and lovely impressions!) shone through and I knew this was my kind of driving instructor! Every lesson was a building block to test standard, with Neil's techniques constantly imprinted in your memory. Neil was an absolutely fantastic driving instructor. As an American with 10 years of driving experience in an automatic car... let's just say I needed a lot of practice! Neil is extremely friendly, very easy to talk to, and makes you feel at ease when learning to drive. His jokes and singing actually made me look forward to driving lessons! His patience is exceptional, he helps boost your confidence, and he has lots of tricks and tips about regular driving, maneuvers, and lots of insight about the actual test. Well what can I say? Don't go with Neil, his singing is terrible. Just kidding! I took driving lessons over 10 years ago and gave up after two failed tests. I decided to have another bash at the ripe young age of 34 and Neil was recommended to me by a friend. Neil is one of those people who you instantly take a liking to and feel completely comfortable with. His approach was different to the driving instructors I had previously encountered and rather than throwing me in at the deep end, he fine tuned my driving ability from the start. He has a good way of explaining things which is just want I needed. He instilled the right level of confidence in me, despite my own lack of confidence. Today I passed my test and I'm over the moon. Neil said this was down to my own ability, but his modesty and kindness are other very likeable traits about Neal. He too should be proud!
