I would like to share a balanced review of my experience with Edwin as a driving instructor. Throughout my driving lessons, Edwin was a good instructor. He explained things clearly, helped me improve my driving skills, and was generally supportive during our lessons. I appreciated the time and effort he invested in helping me prepare for my driving test. However, my experience on the day of my practical test was very different. Instead of helping me stay calm and confident, I felt discouraged and demotivated before the exam. As a learner driver, confidence is extremely important, and I believe the negative comments and attitude I experienced had a significant impact on my mindset going into the test. After failing the test, I decided to end my lessons and continue my learning journey with a different instructor. This review reflects my personal experience. While I am grateful for the help Edwin provided during my lessons, the events surrounding my test day influenced my decision to move on. I've had four driving instructors and Edwin from Brunel Driving School was the best! Great value driving lessons as he always made sure we got at least the full hour of driving which was packed with learning. Always had a nice chat while driving, and I'm pleased to say I've finally passed my driving test thanks to his support. The car itself was also great as although it's a manual it had many automatic features which made driving easier. 100% recommend this local family-run driving school to anyone in need of lessons around Swindon area!
