Andy was an absolute pleasure to learn with. The lessons were great fun and he was incredibly patient, even when I'd try to endanger us at times! Given the current waiting time for instructors, Andy was in no rush to get me through the test. My son’s availability changed when he got a job. He contacted his instructor to let him know and to try and work out new lesson times around his new job. We then received lengthy rude messages from the instructor about this and one mistaken late payment for a lesson, despite all others having been paid in advance. I was also asked to pay for a lesson cancelled by the instructor as my son had been unwell and he won’t work with students when they have a cold or have been sick. Despite having told my son at the time that he was cancelling the lesson at no charge, and my son arriving for the lesson on time, the instructor is now demanding this be paid. I paid over 50% of the disputed lesson but I am still being sent very abrupt and rude messages. We were told that as my son’s availability has changed we could not continue unless we put the test back to December, which would be 9 months since my son started with Agnelli. The instructor refused to continue lessons unless we authorised him to change the October test date to December . We were told “good luck finding another instructor with weekend or evening availability”. This has been a very distressing experience, we have been shown no empathy, consideration or flexibility, especially disappointing as we have spent nearly £1,000 in lessons with this company. Expect no flexibility if your circumstances change and ask up front for a total estimate of the hours and cost that you will incur in lessons. You will also have no control over when you can take your driving test as if you don’t change it if requested to by the instructor he will drop you.
