I had a very disappointing experience with Anita. She seems like a capable instructor, but overall I found her approach quite unprofessional.
From the start, I clearly informed her of my test date. However, during the first 3–4 lessons she repeatedly asked me when my test was, suggesting she hadn’t kept track of important information. She reassured me that everything would be fine and that she would prioritise lessons closer to the test, but a few weeks before, she informed me she had no availability.
During lessons, I also noticed a pattern of inefficiency. We would often stop for 10–20 minutes -a few times on the same lesson - while she "explained" things that could have been covered more effectively, and there were multiple occasions where we had to stop mid-lesson at a petrol station because the car was low on fuel. Plus a few lessons She was late or we finished the lesson 10 min early. It felt like valuable driving time was being lost unnecessarily.
There were also reliability issues. She cancelled one lesson at short notice, and on another occasion we spent the entire session in a car park due to low tyre pressure. In fact, the last three lessons involved more time stopped or parking than actually driving on the road.
When I explained that I needed more frequent lessons leading up to my test, she advised me to find another instructor due to her limited availability and upcoming holiday, without offering any alternative solution.
Overall, this experience was very frustrating, especially as I had communicated my schedule and needs well in advance. I now have to find a new instructor and adjust to a different car so close to my test date.

A driving school vehicle (YJ xx xxx)from this company is repeatedly being parked on a residential street for extended periods.
The driver has been seen leaving the vehicle and switching to another car, suggesting it is being used as a long-term parking space.
This has caused inconvenience to residents.

No lessons at all - first instructor disappeared after a phone call, after which I was told another would soon be in contact. Fast forward 3 weeks and -nothing-. Not even a refund - had to chase that ...
No lessons at all - first instructor disappeared after a phone call, after which I was told another would soon be in contact. Fast forward 3 weeks and -nothing-. Not even a refund - had to chase that myself. Would recommend going through the DVSA instead - a bit pricier but much better customer service.

His warm and patient approach instilled a sense of ease and confidence in me, allowing me to fully focus on honing my driving skills.
One aspect that truly stood out about Stephen was his exceptional accommodation of my demanding schedule. With numerous commitments and limited availability, I was worried about finding lesson times that would fit into my busy life. However, Stephen's willingness to work around my crazy schedule was nothing short of remarkable. Awful experience with Driving instructor Khaled in Islington area for manual car.
He is just after your money! He owed me a lesson but didn't want to make up for it! So I paid him less on the following lesson, on which he got loud and very unprofessional, saying if I don't pay he cancels the lessons with me. That was 2 weeks before my driving exam. He also tried to trick me in paying more, by providing false information regarding the payment for on the exam day. I called the driving school to confirm about that. He also was using his mobile phone on and of during driving lessons.
