God bless you Roger for teaching me, you had your work cut out for you with me. I am so sorry to hear you are no longer here, this city has lost a great soul. I will pass my test without you in the car but with me in spirit thanks to your fantastic teaching abilities 5 🌟

Never said a bad word about me or anyone while I was in the car with him!
Highly recommend fantastic instructor!!

Today in church Fenton I had to stop as a group of cyclists were passing some parked cars at the other side of the road. I could have gone through but as a motorist and cyclist I know it would have been a squeeze with my pick up so
Was happy to wait half a minute. My brake lights will have been on as I didn’t have my handbrake on. As the cyclists were near the end of the row of parked cars I saw a car in my wing mirror start to come round my pick up - right into the path of the cyclists who had to slow down/stop. I felt so sorry for the pupil driving as the instructor should have realised I was stopped for a reason. No wave or indication of an apology from the instructor. Very poor.

Roger is an absolutely BRILLIANT instructor who got me from a really nervous driver to passing first time! Getting in the car felt like catching up with a friend- he’s full of funny stories and anecdotes which helped me relax and see driving as something enjoyable. Roger was always on time and looking for ways to use every minute of the lesson productively- we spent a lot of time practicing test routes so none of the test felt scary! You can tell Roger takes the time to understand each of his pupils and what teaching strategies will work for them… and it pays off! I honestly can’t thank Roger enough for building my confidence as a driver- I’d recommend him to anyone.

When I started lessons with Roger I was an EXTREMELY nervous driver, but his patience and kindness has turned around my driving so massively that I am very happy to have begun learning with him. Roger is helpful, good-humoured, relaxed and knowledgable, so the lesson time whizzes past in a flash. I can't thank him enough for turning something I had previously dreaded into something fun and progressive.

Spoke on the phone (on loud speaker) while giving lessons. Questionable professionalism.
Arrogant and judgmental based on my skin colour and accent. Insisted that I came from China, when I am not (and have never been there before).
I am sad that such individual like Roger exists. I hope you come to sense soon and be nice to others.

In addition to using unsafe practices whilst 'teaching',..... he is also rather arrogant and extremely ignorant. Avoid !

paid 300 pounds for daughters driving lessons then she became pregnant , when she returned he would not honor his agreement saying as it had been over a year he would only offer a couple of lessons , she says he was then quite obnoxious with her detering her from pursuing further lessons , yes we feel well ripped off and will look into the legality of this

Roger is an absolutely BRILLIANT instructor who got me from a really nervous driver to passing first time! Getting in the car felt like catching up with a friend- he’s full of funny stories and anecdotes which helped me relax and see driving as something enjoyable. When I started lessons with Roger I was an EXTREMELY nervous driver, but his patience and kindness has turned around my driving so massively that I am very happy to have begun learning with him.
