Jim was giving great advice for her driving for the first couple times and she started getting more confident by each lesson. The driving school itself was great, I passed my driving test the first time with a perfect score. This review is for Stephanie, one of the driving instructors. I had a different instructor my very first lesson but then switched to Stephanie because I had heard from a friend that she was "fun" and "nice." I switched to her and it was fine the first or second time but after the first few lessons she started acting quite rude towards me- I was confused . I later heard from my friend who also drives with Stephanie that Stephanie was angry at me for a comment I made during a lesson saying that Danville is a nice place to live or something similar (Casual conversation while I was driving) She proceeded to talk crap about me to my friend and to who knows how many other students. Absolutely ridiculous. I would take it up with the driving school but I have no proof that this happened. Stephanie is the most immature and unprofessional women I've ever met- apparently driving with teenagers gives her the attitude and mind of a teenager. I would never ever recommend her. ALSO- She gossips about other students which was all very inappropriate and made me feel weird and uncomfortable that a grown women would be doing so - as well as what she could be saying about me. We love Danville Driving School -- we're on our second of two kids, and both have had a great experience with the school.  Not sure where some of these negative reviews are coming from, but our experience has been excellent.   Native English speakers, good in-office classes, good on the road classes, good pre-test preparation -- our oldest got his license with a great score, and has been a very conscientious driver since! I booked a in-car driving class through phone. No confirmation mail or text was sent. When I called them for confirmation, the response was not clear, they couldn't confirm my pickup location and I was told that my registration paper was not found. Later, I got a call from them about the class.Looks like dis organized management. Read Less

One if the instructors almost hit two cars on Sycamore and Camino Tassajara  yesterday. She was blond and never gave a signal while attempting two unsafe lane changes. Is this who you want teaching your children? Read Less

After checking out several schools in the area, one of which shows its license as expired in the state database, I decided that Danville Driving School was the most professional on the phone and with their policies. I'd had trouble finding an instructor who was a native-English speaker, but Danville Driving School has several. I wanted to make sure that my son was with an instructor who he could clearly understand--obviously critical during driving lessons!This school does not allow parents in the car during the lesson, which is understandable on one hand, but it would have been nice to have had more guidance as to how I could help my son work on his driving skills. They were very responsive about re-scheduling sessions when we needed to, and they helped us understand the driver's license testing requirements.CON: My son said the instructor talked about random things non-stop during every lesson, and little about actual driving instruction. But this school is still probably among the best in the area. Read Less

My son did his driver's training through this school and I would highly recommend them. Before signing up both times, I called the other local driving schools to do a comparison. I found this school to be the most professional on the phone and very comparably priced. They can pick your student up from school or your house. Read Less
